This has to be the BEST Video on here! this guy has some basic machining equipment and he's making the specialty tooling he needs to do these skillfully done jobs, like broaching a keyway, cutting spiral fluted channels for a drill bit. normally a shop would buy expensive tooling to do these same jobs. he didn't have the money or access to these specialty tools, so he's making his own from basic metals and scraps to machine and build the specialty tools himself. saving him a ton of money and the satisfaction of making it yourself. this way you know how to fix it when it breaks or needs one for a different job the current tool is too big or small for the new job. he's got some mad skills to create those tools with basically next to nothing in metal choices or raw materials, but he makes the tools needed, very skillfully crafted and are very accurate and efficient for the task at hand.

Turned the Milling M/C into a shaping machine with the cam device, quite neat for cutting keyways etc, if you don’t have a shaping machine.

What's innovative about that??? The fact that he does everything in the yard and then throws the waste behind the fence into the river and that's it? Or is it innovative because he doesn't have a retarded Grteta behind his ass? To every idiot who likes this, I wish that these factories that destroy the environment grow up next to their barracks. @@БлинниковМихаил он умничает, на его 80 летних станках люфты такие, что штангеном можно уже не пользоваться, но за рюмкой водки или под пиво можно похвалиться, что на советских заводах без штангенциркуля точили.. да и сейчас точат.

@MonstroLab Yeah. But "workplace culture" is important for self-organization and next to safety. I'm not judging this guy. You see, I'm russian and done kind of "soviet-style" polytechic college. The system in my head. Providing safety is not your right, it is your responsibility. I more like that "government standards" construction bureau I was worked in than another NoName Ltd where nobody cares about simple safety. I feel a duty to convey the idea of self- respect and care to other brother-proletarians. It's nice when you can do your work professionally, but nobody safe of accident. And sometimes any consequences is only your problem, because you've been fired yesterday, you know. But in this case It's more about dirt, yes.
