Modern researchers try to bring to life the idea of a scientist who lived more than a hundred years ago. We are talking about Nikola Tesla. In 1891, the inventor developed the Tesla coil, a resonant transformer that transmits electricity without wires, but only over short distances.
Due to its limited capacity, it was not used. However, the scientist was not going to give up and created a project for a power plant that could cope with high-voltage wireless power transmission. Tesla tried to use it to transmit messages wirelessly over long distances. Unfortunately, the JP Morgan investor refused to provide additional funds for the tests, and, in 1906, the project was canceled and closed. Tesla’s dream was to place huge towers around the world that could transmit power wirelessly to any place, powering houses, enterprises, industrial facilities, and even giant electric ships in the ocean. Tesla died, unable to fully realize his idea of wireless electricity, but his followers continued the work of an outstanding scientist. In 1964, microwave electronics expert William C. Brown, first tested a helicopter model capable of receiving and using microwave beam energy as the direct current through an antenna array consisting of half-wave dipoles with highly efficient Schottky diodes.

Yet, Science Driven By Grant and Government Investment using pre determined outcomes isn't science. It is the death.of Science and declination of a Nation. LOOK TO THE SUN.. This is so impractical and just a pipe dream. The energy losses are very high. The cost and other issues such as line-of-sight will prevent this from ever becoming reality. Wireless power is only useful for short distance and low power applications. Just imagine using wireless charging for your car. If it cost you $20 to charge your car with a plug, it would cost $26 to $30 using wireless charging. How dumb can you be to pay more for the infrastructure only to then pay even more for its use?

Its not as sinister as that , but signalling wireless could have some one trying to use the free power in direct line of sight. The coil kit for receiving it is large and is more expensive than a wire . But on single routes to a remote location its very effective. it has got some great fall backs as radiation in that area of line of sight, Pluss can stop cell phone use even tough on a different frequency. it is better on small distances and despite the video is very weather dependant just like pylons. The wetter the atmosphere the more power is required output to gain the same normal load. it can only send high freqency modulations like pylons and not dc power .

the trick is that we do wireles power based on electromagnetic radiation propogating out from the transmitter as a radio bubble, tesla coils aren't transmitting power like that, they aren't using induction, they are using resonance coupling to turn the ground into the neutral and the air into the hot wire. a true tesla coild transmitter reciever setup uses electromagnetic to generate the voltage and accomplish resonance, but the actual power transfer from transmitter to reciever is supposed to utilise atmospheric capacitance and transfer power electrostatically instead of electromagnetically. it makes a big difference, electrostatic resonant charge transfer is orders of magnitude less leaky than emr based power transfer.

LET'S all wake up to how you make Hydrogen, yt it's very simple to produce large quantity's of hydrogen, First you find some water, Then you install two electrodes typically one copper and one zinc.. whatever that isn't the important part. Two break the two molecules of H2o apart we use the same energy that put them together to begin with!! The magnetic force !!! not the North or South poles that would be supper stupid. NO,, The center of a magnet is by far the most powerful. What I want all you to understand is that everything from Anti Gravity to the development of the pyramids was a by product of the magnetic center not North or South poles they are the weakest part of any magnet.. FACT! We can Easly build a small Hydrogen carburetor for existing auto's . Want to know how they carved the granite rock, Real simple they would vibrate the "B"field of a magnetic force into the rock, as you know quarts has allot of radio activity due to the quartz crystal there in . Just like your cell phone. They would saturate the rock with the magnetic "B"field and it would become very soft, .. I CAN PROVE ALL THIS!!! and that's exactly why they had to use copper tools so they would not disrupt the magnetic field as they built the pyramids.

Their is clearly plenty of "energy" in both the earth & atmosphere, surely we could access it in a fashion similar to that of the old bumper cars, only without the need of physical contact to make the circuit complete? It was good enough for Zeus!⚡⚡⚡🤓😝🤣😂🤣

Microwaves for power transmission through the atmosphere is a really bad idea. The atmosphere is full of life. It's the main way to propagate for lichens, fungi, many plants, and little animals like insects and spiders. What happens to all those, when they float through a microwave beam?? Those physicists never seem to think about that...🤨😣😫

Government and power brokers prevented Tesla from succeeding. Plus with the way electronic technology has developed and the power grid - the frequency bandwidth of Teslas work would be difficult to use.

Just speculating out loud . Tesla's tower was round , I thought he was bouncing energy off the ionosphere . This video doesn't address that . I'm I missing something or am I mistaken about his earlier research?

Makes a nice science project for some high schooler, but in reality this just isn't feasible as the huge power loss transmitting huge megawatts of power needed to run entire cities, the range is useless. works well for telecommunications as these devices use only mili watts of power and there is little power loss. As far as running EV's on the roadways, this also is a pipe dream with our antiquated electrical infrastructure. We are more than 100yrs away from accomplishing this as major new electrical infrastructure would have to be built from scratch. In the end folks, we will be using diesel and gasoline till the end of time as these renewables just can't keep up with world demand.

This would do nothing to minimize power outages due to hurricanes, etc. As someone who has been through hurricanes and snow blizzards the power was out because of local distribution lines being down. Because of the inverse square law, diffraction, and air being a great insulator this will never be a practical way to transmit power.

I'm an electrician of sorts but l don't see how this would work. It's a bit like the Sun l suppose. Only a small percentage of its energy hits the Earth. The rest goes out uselessly into space. Creating large magnetic fields would cause all sorts of problems.

Just playing the devil’s advocate - had Tesla succeeded with his idea of massive microwave power transmission, how many brains would have been fried? Just recall that it’s a really bad idea to climb up a telephone tower or live in an elevated place with massive radar antennas on the next hill.

Tesla did not understand physics, which is why his efforts failed. This mode of transmission doesn't work. It's not going to work, for reasons that are clear to those who trouble to learn the physics behind the ideas.
