Ginger, curious...what's with your 100%-0%-100%-0% flicking technique with your throttle control? I noticed that when you tested the 11x as well as this. Is there a reason for it instead of just incrementally slowly increasing the power? Can't imagine it'd be very good for the controller doing that flicking technique. Just wondering... TBH, it was bugging me a little... ;)

Good question... I think its just because for me, half the fun of riding these things is feeling the acceleration. Also because I only really feel like I have good grip on the bar when I'm pushing against something with my thumb. If i'm holding the accelerator in the middle my hand doesn't feel as secure on the bar. Maybe its just me.

@GingerOnWheels4 жыл бұрын
Ya it is an interesting scooter. I hadn't seen many videos on these guys so I wanted to get some content out there. They don't make variable volt chargers, but they do make 'fast chargers' where you can turn a dial to output 1 - 5 amps. Fluid freeride has them for the Wolf @ 60 volts. Make sure you match the voltage of the charger to that of your battery fluidfreeride.com/products/fast-charger-for-mantis-and-wolf?ref=33 I made a video on fast charging you might want to check out!
@donscott64314 жыл бұрын
Ginger On Wheels @ Don Scott. Since I posted last, I ordered and received a 58.8 volt adjustable amp (2-5) charger from ewheels. This matches up exactly with my D5+2.0 ‘BOT scooter. Cost me $140.00, but very well made, 2+lbs with fan. The NanRobot D5 is 52 volts, and the stock brick charger goes to 58.8

@@donscott6431~ I was advised to not only stay away from the D5+2.0 due to it's suspension issues, but to stay completely away from NanRobot altogether.
@donscott64314 жыл бұрын
NoProGoPronto Yes! You really want to check out all options! BUT. ‘BOT scooters are cheap for what you get, AND, there’s a new sheriff in town!! Check out the State-Side dealership for NanRobot in Denver, Colorado! Warrantee, quick service and replacement here in the US. Search RoadRunner Scooters. I’ve been a ‘Bot owner for 2years, gone thru the ups and downs. Currently am riding a D5+2.0 with almost 2000 miles on it. I was lucky to get a good unit, what with factory backing being so crappy. Also own an x4 and D3 (beautiful!scoot, but a pile of s-t). The x4 is a 30lb workhorse, no problem, but xtreamly short range. NOW the good news. RoadRunner offers the same prices as the official site with 5 day shipping and the customer support is one of the best I’ve heard of. FOR THE PRICE you may consider the D5. It has much less inherent flaws than any of their other scooters except for maybe the LS7. One notable “flaw” would be a soft front suspension that dips forward under braking! (I got used to it quickly). But consider a 2000 watt/35-40 mph scooter with built-in motion alarm, for around $1200.00, that weighs 68 lbs. I’m 66 years old and can carry this thing up 2 flights of stairs. Still working, I can ride 17 miles to work, 17 miles home, on a single charge. Just sayin’....
@donscott64314 жыл бұрын
NoProGoPronto PS. The suspension issues with the D6 are MUCH more severe! Along with the e-braking issues that seem to override the bms (battery management system), shutting the scooter down completely until hooked back up to the charger

Dang that's a shame, but doesn't surprise me. You're right, there are 3 or 4 scooter manufacturers in China what all the brands are really doing is buying parts from those 3 factories and then making a Mr. Potato head scooter my combining parts and painting the frames with their own new 'brand'. Minimotors and Zero are the only brands I see that are actually trying to innovate by making new products, like the thumb throttle option they've got for the zero scooters now.
@matelslug14 жыл бұрын
Ginger On Wheels hey man, I really love how boosted rev tried to change this rat race by reinventing the throttle and low deck style and single swing arm style frame, also rion is another name that are trying to break the mold of generic bs assembly. Last but not least I was wondering if this new company called Apollo ludacris scooter from Canada be a fresh air but the more I look into their products, they are using the same china parts apart from that stormcore esc model with some serious price to it and very little output on the paper...
@darcychu96524 жыл бұрын
@@matelslug1 Apollo is procuring the scooters from the exactly same manufacturer of Zero(aka. Grace) but with stricter inspection upon receiving to assure fewer faults on quality. So it really depends upon buyers' preference pricewise.

This is a piece of crap. I own this one for 2 years, wasted 1k+ euro on service. Firstly I changed tyre every week. After that I rided in the rainy day (the rain was not that intense) as a result = battery dead (400 euro for a new one) Then I was tired of changing tyres every week and putted airless tyres. After 1 week on riding airless tyres the rear wheel is bended and wobbly very hard. Idk how long can I use it this way but its totally not worth that money. PIECE OF CRAP! Don't even think of buying it, this scooter is pain in the ass. Not sure about other inokim products, but this model is clacky, fragile, you ride like a plastic toy, everything rattles, shakes, creaks. The maximum price for such a scooter is 200 euros. Do not even think of buying it, save yourself from this pain. Before that, I had a Xiaomi m365 - half the price, it served me for 3 years, for 3 years I spent 50 euros on it to put airelss tires, AND THATS ALL.
