So this has been on my mind since this video dropped and always has been since middle school when I played one of my first matches of cs on vertigo, met some great people, and had the funniest experience ever. Yet, that montage showed so many names and sounds, not all of them can be around to do this day. A whole pandemic happened, and life happened, within the notion that you connect to someone else through an old game yet you only really know the emotion. Some of the memories we love and share are attached to people whose names we can not recall, people whose lives can not be confirmed at this time but definitely were at one point. I remember a couple years ago people were talking about how they don't, and how some would give everything to find out, what happened to their old 1st gen console friends, that on 360s a friend says last seen 3 thousand days ago, and how that connection can originated from the first Xbox on halo. Never did I notice that feeling would haunt me or affect me in any way but yet each year it grows more and more relatable .
