It's like the Dustbowl of CS. Dustbowl in TF2 is, frankly, not a good map. However, it is an excellent tutorial. Learning to succeed on Dustbowl (and Dust II) simultaneously teaches you how to excel in the whole game.

Great production! Just one thing: most people don't know how to play this map. For example, there are no fixed positions, and you should always play with spawn because of timing. Dust 2 is basically long control because getting B site is hard and A site can get pressure from short and long.

I usually play solo B with full nades, 1st or 2nd armour and MP9, I throw smoke first and jump on right tall box near car side. If I hear a lot of steps I throw moly right in front of smoke so if they don’t change their path they all die in fire. If they smoke it I either keep my position as it will be extremely hard for them to check or I use flash and jump in the smoke to catch last 2 guys who is entering my 1st smoke in upper as they don’t expect me to rush it. If they don’t push I often start shooting smoke so they start shooting back and then I throw nasty nade right in their faces. Works all the time, basically my daily B routine. Usually after 2 such rushes they will never ever try to rush B again so I sit there alone for the rest of the match

i like dust because you can either play it hella sweaty, hella chill, or turn it into a purely aim map where you can buy zero util and still swing the game if you aim is crisp enough. something like mirage on the other hand, you either memorize 20 lineups and pray your team has too or pray the enemy sucks thats it.
