The power Inoue creates at such short distance for a smaller fighter is insane. Most times he's not even all in on the punches and still drops people. Also his check hook is so underrated. He catches people so nasty with them coming in.

Inoue has the best left hook i have ever seen. Well balanced, foot placement, develops torque with his hips. Donaire, rodriguez, Tapales all got hurt by hooks traveling less than 18 inches.

The accuracy is unreal too. He needs to see a space in the guard for only a millisecond to land it on his opponent's jaw

This is a reckoning fight. Inoue represents his nation well and is humble and respectful in all his interactions with others. He will fight with the intent of gaining restitution. Nery will start strong but will get nailed right from start. It wont go beyond 4.

Strongly disagree. Inoue will beat Nery quite easily. Too many holes in Nery's defense and Inoue will counter him with ease. Tapales weighed 143 pounds against Inoue. He fought cagey fight behind a solid defense, jabs and sneaky, short right hands. That is not Nery's MO at all - he throws a ton of looping, wide punches. Inoue under 6 rounds.

I agree completely. Nery is too sloppy. He's going to eat check lefts early, probably suffer some nasty liver shots.

Tapales came in at 140.something on fight night, Inoue 135.something, didn't they? 135lb was Inoue's SB target fight weight and I reckon he'll weigh in at the limit this time, and fight a bit heavier than last time - continuing building himself up for the challenges at Feather.. Definitely under seven rounds, probably under six, possibly under t four - if the opportunity presents itself, imo...

Tapales is tougher than NERY, we'll see on fight night. Your view is Nery to throw more punches? HE'll be very Vulnerable in that case, Nery's JAW is WIDE WIDE OPEN when he's throwing punches.

I will teach people other than Japan. Inoue's Ohashi Gym has a substitute in case Neri fails to lose weight. If Neri fails to lose weight, she will not be able to fight and will not receive fight money.

It's not gonna be like the Tapales fight because Tapales was very discipline defensively especially after that first knockdown. Nery is a brawler and he's already disrespected Inoue by calling him overrated and ordinary. Inoue will make it look easy, it's gonna be a KO under 5 rounds. Like they said in the beginning, Nery's style is tailor made for Inoue. The monster devours cocky brawlers for breakfast.

I don't think he gives Inoue many problems. Nery's aggression is too sloppy. And that thing he does where he squares up to his opponent and throws both hands will get him put to sleep in a hurry. And Nery soesnt really have a size advantage on Inoue. Inoue has a reach advantage. Inoue by liver shot KO in 4th.

Even though the fight is in Japan. However, Inoue has more to lose here. Undisputed 4 belts on the line. Nery will get all of those if he comes out a winner. But if Inoue wins, it’ll be just a title defending fight. Nothing else to gain. The Americans will go on and say “he beats a guy with no title” “he’s fought nobody”.

The Japan Boxing Commission brings in international referee and judges for World Title fights so Nery should get a fair chance IF it goes the distance. I think it will be a fast and furious fight because, as talked about, Nery is going to "bring it". But I find Nery's attack to be a bit too wild and he tends to be sloppy so I don't think it will be hard for Inoue to connect early and often. Not betting but if I did it would be Inoue wins by KO in round 5. That being said, I can imagine that if Nery can catch Inoue and buzz him a la Donaire in their 1st fight then Nery's barrage style could finish Inoue where Donaire couldn't. Maybe in the later rounds.

vs Tapales wasn't a tough fight. Compare their faces after the match . It was a really good one for sure though.
