I just finished installing this film on a tesla! Check out premium auto styling if you want to see some different methods. I notice that it needs to be laid cold on flat panels like doors. Also wet the floor when you pull the cap sheet. Wet the cap sheet then pull it to reduce static. Wet around the areas and floor when you lay. Also tape up mask all the edges where there is dirt or open spaces. This film requires a lot of prep and a lot of hands. Thanks for your video! Always cool to see others honest review of the film.

I wrapped a Ferrari 812 super fast with inozetek chalk gray by myself and it literally gave me nightmares. Glad to hear you say it’s a two person film. Also, the way sheddy says it is right (I think) lol

find that hard to believe since Inozetek sells to select professional shops and not 1 person garage shops
@GdayFraz4 жыл бұрын
@@afv571 you must not know much then. Inozetek sells to people that have more than 20 wraps. For the Ferrari I was hired by a shop though 👌🏻

Jusy wrapped it today a black gloss porsche macan alone.. its fine, just that its easy to make some marks under the vinyl with some pressure on aqueegee

Lots of good info! There’s definitely a big learning curve when it comes to working with this film but once you pick up on what does and doesn’t work projects seems to move at a relatively decent pace.

Great review guys! Sucks they won't sell publicly and only to shops they choose

Hey y’all, great work! Can you tell me what type of steamer you use? I had a Shop do my installation but there’s scratches all over my car so I’m going to take things into my own hands and fix them. Thank you!

Did you fix the scratches?. How has been your experience with Inozetek?

What is a Zerostat gun used for? Effective at neutralizing static charges on virtually any surface without the need for sprays, the Zerostat 3 by Milty helps keep LP phonograph records, vinyl, CDs, DVDs, film, negatives, lenses, glass, and plasticware static-free, dust-free and lint-free.

How do I buy this wrap?

I've herd it's better to apply this wrap without heating as much as possible.

Ima sure there’s lots of very informative comments in relations to some useful tips Key points -I have some conduit hanging from one hook to the other. I shove the material onto it, suspending it. And roll down 4 feet at a time with the floor wet to avoid contaminating the film with dust. As I pull 4 feet down I’m removing the liner. I’m sure there are better ways but here’s a ghetto version of it haha. -you need even heat so a handheld heat lamp works best -avoid glassing because the air realease sucks. In my opinions better to try to find a middle point of the panel and work/heat your way out. If you lay the door like she did but instead pull down the material cut off backing paper fold material back up onto the panel. Lay from the middle side to side with lightly lifting from side to side to get the air out (yes the top will flip onto you) and then work material up and down from the middle point you will realize it won’t start forming so many fingers like at the very beginning of the video. Hope that makes sense lol. Seems like the flat panels are the hardest because of how easy it tacs and how bad the air release is. Kinda like kpmf at certain temperatures. No way am I saying this is the right way but this has helped me and hopefully it can help some of you guys. And Inozetek killlllled it with this material. Changed the whole game, shoutout to them 💪🏽

Hard to awoid the lines, but possible, little dust under film looks like stone and film has very big sttic - so its hard to get it dustless.. lots of cons but still has amazing finish won't argue. Takes more people and more time to install properly and nice.

NOT impressed. White Out arrived with translucent discolor spots and short roll at about 100" short. That coupled with how difficult it is to apply. Would not use again.

At this point, with all the pros and cons, the price for material, the labor that's more then the average, paint is way better.
