Atheism isn't a world view. It's a single position on a single issue. Do you believe in God. If the answer is 'no' you are an atheist. This is not epistemological, it is about belief not knowledge. You can be an agnostic atheist, which would be addressing the knowledge question. Is there a god or gods? 'I don't know' makes you agnostic (none of us know with absolute certainty, so we are all agnostic if we are honest). If you believe there likely is a god you're an agnostic theist. But you can be an atheist and still have spiritual convictions, you could believe in any kind of weird arse shit and still be an atheist so long as that weird arse thing isn't a god or gods. Much the same with Satanism. You can be an atheistic Satanist or a theistic Satanist. The only thing that seems to be uniting (paradoxically) about all shades of Satanism is the focus on the primacy of the individual and the priority given to the Will of said individual. Most Satanists I know are essentially secular humanists and atheistic. But of course their are fascist Satanists, 'progressive' libertine Satanists... There's a hell of a lot of difference between The ONA, COS, Satanic Temple... non-denominational independent Satanists etc. In my experience the majority of self-identified Satanists are all about the psycho-pomp of symbolism and cos play. Some might take it as far as keeping up occult traditions in ritual, but it's so diverse the imagery/iconography is often all practitioners have in common. Satanism as semiotics, if you will.
