Ok... I think everybody has some misconception about the bike. The Weped Sonic is, in fact, not a scooter that you think. Probably we can say that a foldable moped, more exactly. If you want to check, try to find Sonic Expander, and Sonic platform is designed for both motorcycle and scooter version, on the scooter based theory. And many people asked what the benefit is, and because of misunderstand, they did not get the point. So I want to discuss little bit of information for you. - The concept of foldable moped. is in fact similar with other Korean flagship scooters, carry the scooter on the car trunk space. It is important because one of the demand is a driver service for drunken people in Korea. This type of service drivers are want to go to the caller's direction with the scooters, and put the scooter in the caller's car trunk, and drive to their house, and take the scooter and go back to their service area. So, the distance can be longer than average scooter's range. - The Sonic is also made for delivery drivers. Means the performance is targeting on the 125cc similar. And I know some of people think that's over spec, but the power is very important, especially for the hill climb. If anybody has an experience to go to Korea, especially in Seoul, that people see the apartment complex built on the mountain. Means I bet any hill condition of American urban area or other European city is not same with that. So, scooters are basically need a power and if not, there will be very awkward situation happened. - Another point is, because of the housing type, the consumers want a device that is something middle of scooter and E-Moped, that can be carried by elevators in their apartment. Unfortunately, the Korean parking system of Apartment complex is not very kind for all two wheels. So, put the moped in the elevator and carry that to the house is one of very good strength. So, I think probably many people can take the concept, and although I'm supporting this company(because all TWO WHEEL manufacturing company in Korea is challengers. Korea is not two wheel friendly country, and basically a full of hater.), I do not think it is good feat for American style. Probably Sonic Expander(a motorcycle version) is more suitable, but... the price is an issue.

i will never understand why these companies dont show genuine performance tests. its like, YO, u have the scooter, u have roads where u are, just do a speed test with standard road data to show the incline and decline rates. then a basic range test with climate data and elevations specs is really not that hard to do. i mean, every scooter ive gotten, ive done basic tests like these before i start using them regularly just so i know what ive actually got. btw, where are all these rion owners, all these years and not a single speed test from anyone...

They gave that guy a FREE scooter to promote but sent me a damaged Sonic x that I had to repair myself. Now my scooter work perfectly fine.

WEPED make great performance scooter, but their company is trash in customer service. They gave that guy special brakes to promote that isn’t on the website. They running a scam. They sent them a brand new scooter for free but could send me broken parts. Wow

Bro Weped grow up because of France market (FASTRIDE).. because of them Weped don't have connection with WEST.!! Everything runs automatically with specific scooter build (around 10 people making them.. 2 uncles, their children and 2-3 employers) So they don't have to know English, because the sells direct to owners was a few and running from their page!! Weped has big profits and don't discuss it (if you want) and it's not problem for me.. everyone can do what ever they want... 2024 trying to make an opening to USA, with a Weped basic shop in USA!! This means they don't have to know English because you will talk with the boss of USA Weped (as we from Europe talk with FASTRIDE France).. If this goes good then Weped in Korea will grow up veeery much... Here we are to discuss it...😘

He isn't a big content creator like the rest of you folks but his costs well over 18K.... TON of add ons.. 10 Months gone now... Maybe you can link up with him and see it or ride it in person since he lives in California

I was one of the people who encouraged Mrlou to make videos of the Weped Sonic after he received it. Making videos was not his thing, as he had only made videos of himself playing musical instruments. I did try to reach out to him, but he never responded.

Hey bro, I post a comment on Sur Ronster channel to let the viewers know WEPED shipped me a damaged Sonic X scooter and Sur Ronster deleted my comment. These people will large platforms are BOUGHT and PAID FOR SELLOUTS. Thought his channel was about reviewing products but clearly he's not a man of Good character. Too many Sellouts on KZbin, that is why WEPED shipped him a scooter for FREE.

I say ...great scooter,mad machine just too f expensive because you need and service with him...and parts,pick up car...no thank you...that someone offer him for free i will be needed time to think about this...
