In the south east USA we have something very similar to black pudding. It's called blood pudding or pudding meat depending where you are. You won't find it in many diners. I usually get mine from local farmers when they butcher. There's still a few left that make blood pudding.

Just a little disclaimer... There are Americans who know about black pudding. Especially Americans who have a Hispanic background. To my understanding... The black pudding in the U.K is mixed with oats. The black pudding from South America is mixed with rice. The seasonings may be different as well. Most people may not know it as black pudding but they may if one says blood sausage. In South America we call it morcia (the c has an s sound). Love watching Leah and Beast do these collab videos!
