INSANE 1of1 Jaguar XJ220 Restomod LOUD sounds in London!!

I caught this stunning Jaguar XJ220 modified to XJ220S spec by Don Law Racing, finished in Green with an interior retrimmed to tan leather. The car looks and sounds absolutely insane on the streets of London.

One of my favourite all time cars came out when I was a kid, 220 mph on the clock and goes 217 mph, still looks good all these years later!

Nice. In my opinion, they’re the most beautiful supercar ever built. I’ve never ever seen one in the flesh and I don’t think I’d cope if I did lol. Colour is beautiful, most of the cars seem to be silver, which is nice, but they look so beautiful in green. I don’t really like the rear wing, it breaks up the lines a bit I think, so if it was mine I’d have the original wing, and I’d also use the original retracting headlight covers because they’re super cool, but it truly is a thing of beauty. And I bet it cracks along, the turbos sound pretty angry!

98% of the time I would agree, but this is one of the few cars where I would say it looks better without them and the sleek headlights follow the lines better. Reminds me of how the Ferrari 250s (obviously not the same but still) have their headlights for instance. Or it’s mimicking the LM version of the XJ220.

Spot on. 20 years ago I had a Jaguar X Type in Jaguar racing green. I would have happily swapped it for this stunner😎 but my insurance company would have made me broke! 😀

I don't know for sure but at a guess I'd say because it's an xj220s shell and the xj220s were the racecars and racecars are predominantly LHD because the majority of racetracks run clockwise. So LHD bodies offer a better vantage point for the driver.

Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now they want to slow down all the gas station fuel pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime :-((
