it’s the throttle cable, which is connected to the gas pedal, so when he pulls it it’s just as when you press the pedal

Fun fact for ya, you can just bolt these straight to the throttle body, that way you don't need to mount it, and gets it even closer too you to hear all 69kw of raw power! Have fun floggin this nugget they're properly fun and cheap cars when you get em dialed!
