Manila is beautiful during the day and captivating at night especially now that every nook and corner is being cleaned and improved. Every tree around Intramuros lits up magically with the capiz shells exposing its grandeur be it to locals or tourists. Walk the famous and French feel Jones Bridge that served as the connection for trade during the early times. Can't wait for the Metropolitan Theater to open soon which will offer not just history but a venue to showcase Filipino artistry. Thanks to Nelly and Mike for making these vlogs not just enjoyable but beneficial to the tourism industry. If I see you both personally, coffee is on me!

The Bayleaf Intramuros ! years ago, they do not have that roof in the roof deck.. but great that they still kept a certain area where one can see 360 degrees of Manila.. and their food is really great! :) We love it there especially that it's just walking distance to the Bu of Immigration :D

You’re right Mike, there’s a lot to be discovered in Manila. One interesting place to visit is the San Sebastian Church, the only all-steel church building in the Philippines. If a guide is available, you will hear the amazing story of how the church was built. A bonus is to be able to go up to the belfry where you can also have a view of Manila.

Buildings inside Intramuros are limited to certain floor level as part of site preservation. Bayleaf was retrofitted from an old bank building that was built before this regulation. That's why it's the only one with that height in the area.
