Now, real talk, what in the name of the lord all mighty was Bagina doing the whole game? Like, bruh, he was completely left to his own devices. I honestly thought that he is gonna be the winner of this ffa, because everybody else were engaging in combat while this dude was chilling at his base. He should've just powered up and just steam rolled his opponents.

Yeah, I've suggested this in one of our late night discord sessions. I'm really curious how you'll get this to work. Without completely making the economy flatline and it being "equal" for everyone.

That makes sense, to me it seems like it will be necessary to just surrender to the engine limitations in this particular case, and it's fine really, the economy in gen evo already has to be different from zero hour because of said limitations, so it's not like it's too drastic of change. It would be cool if it was possible to have the diverse resource collectors of ZH in this game, but it is what it is, I think people probably won't mind it too much as long as it provides them a steady income for fun games and prevents trucks from derping off into the enemy base.

That was a very entertaining game! I loved the additional camera when Cloud first attacked the Power Plant with his Raptors! WOOOW, Clouds Chinook comeback! He lasted so much longer and dealt more damage than I ever expected!

The main weakness of the laser general is that you need to substantially protect your power plants at all cost because it's not just the buildings that'll need the electric power, but also the units themselves. It's punishing if you're the type of player to build big attack armies, small power grids and thin defenses, and in theory would probably encourage a more turtly playstyle (then again we're watching veteran players who've mastered Command and Conquer). This is prolly why the laser general's power plants provide more power than their vanilla counterpart. It's a balancing act.

It's definitely something you need to consider when playing laser general. There are at least some units that don't require power so you can still function, but yeah those power plants are really important.

@@OneSybert Putting Laser Avengers in base would be cool. It would force enemies to just avoid sending in their air units, and to just send land units, which the laser player can then counter with his own land units. Perhaps, like, let the enemy besiege the base for a period of time, then make sure the base still survives for as long as possible until the attack units arrive to either ward the enemy away or to basically annihilate them while preventing them from escaping. Basically, if there's a mosquito biting the skin, either swat it away or slap it to death. Dunno, I've never played ZH, RA3 or Gen Evo multiplayer (I did play ZH in single player and RA3 campaign, so there's that).

@@jvbutalid8316 hey, you would be right with the avenger part, if they werent as bad as they are rn they cost 2000$ (1500$ for Laser) and, due to missing SnD, they miss 20% range which is needed for good AA against raptors. Fun Fact i played a 1v1 against cloud where i was Air and he van USA, he also said there is no way at the moment for an USA to deal cost effective with Airforce Gen

One advantage for the Air Force General is he is still quite viable even without an airfield. He can just spam infantry (especially Missile Defenders), spam Combat Chinooks and load the infantry into the Combat Chinooks, and put them to battle. It's probably more cost-efficient considering individual Missile Defenders and Combat Chinooks are cheaper than, say, the King Raptors and Auroras that the AFG fields to battle. One critical weakness, though, is that the bare minimum you'll need to beat the AFG...is literally any missile infantry. Spam missile infantry, spread them around, and you've built quite a cost-efficient deterrent. Just be careful of snipers, though. You can build an army of anti-air vehicles, too, but...even if they're cheap, missile infantry spawn faster.
