Finally! I had been waiting for this for a long time! 3:25 Eagle's info card needs correction. It says LS is 10 stars but it is actually 9 stars. I have no idea why but when you reached 17k income at 18:06 I moaned in pleasure and freaked out my roommate. You better take responsibility for attracting me so hard towards 17k I remember following this game when it was going on and was so damn shocked to see Rimer get back with that devastating LS. The amount of patience he showed during this game was truely something and your infantry walls were truely remarkable as well. Let's all be thankful that you actually did not built a piperunner to bm lmao Congratulations on beating Rimer Deej! Onto the top 2. Only one hurdle remains between you and that 1st place. Btw sorry to disappoint but those pixel trophies are not given for discord cups. They are for on site tournaments. All the best for the finals!

Yes, unfortunately these Discord Cups don't give on-site trophies as prizes. However, we do give a trophy icon to the winner's Discord profile, so that's the next best thing.

your lesson on the threatening infantry reminds me of what i did in an Eggcup match where I just kinda kept a dude near the lab to force the other player to keep something around it, and it eventually won me the match since i got them to pop Olaf's SCOP after my Max SCOP, then a few turns later I used a Transport copter and dropped off another Infantry to secure the lab cap since he moved his tanks away from the lab and left a single Infantry to guard it.

1:30 "Maastricht Maaier" is definitely not german. :D Maastricht is a big city in the Netherlands (it´s also where the EU European Union was more or less born). Maaier seems to be about a (lawn)mover, but not sure how this makes any sense with this map. :D

Once again this map was tailor made for Eagle, but sadly we get another Eagle wall hitter. Once you got the 2 com towers it was Gen 1 Max w/ a super CO vs Gen 2 Eagle.

Its honestly a great Max map. Eagle would like it more if it had 3 bases. All the tournament games with top 10 players have gone to the player playing Max. For this map its probably Max>Eagle>Olaf>Sami for t2.

I wonder if on day 20, popping eagles super power to.mangle the infantry wall, and then pulling all the vehicles backwards, would have been the call. Essentially a quick punch to the gut and then a defensive guard for the max blast.

On the one hand, with your lead, you had little reason to force a fight given the move limit. But on the other hand - with the move limit he didn't have time - even with the quality counter punch. You don't have to be too hard on yourself. You criticized your kind of schloppy Max Force, but it put a lot of pressure on Rimer's ability to capture properties with all the infantry you killed. It may not have been the best way to do that and if there was no turn limit you would have paid for it more, but in this scenario that late game attack gave you a win.

The problem with Lightning Drive is that not all maps have airport and the Firepower boost does not achieve Benchmarks on it's own. Even if it was 2 stars, it would not be viable

Deejus, I have a Nutty Lower Level replay but unfortunately does not qualify :( . It was not a global match but the map is Splintered. We both were more than 850. We did not make it to 15 days because of an unexpected HQ rush, I just saw it empty and though "might as well". Did not even need a single com tower.

The other infantries over there couldn't reach in time! It seemed like a great move, and in case of LS it would be a distraction of a copter on an infantry. I mean u explained that eagle needed the comtowers more than you do, and the infantry on the forest could block the only infantry that could reach, or even block with the tank right to the comtower and expand ur potential value in ur units

My favorite format is live, both std and fog. Normal std is too stressful and non-live fog is my strongest but I do prefer std typically.
