There are a few necessitates for a replay to be reviewed on channel- the game must:
- Be a global league game, no meme maps.
- Have two players at 850 level minimum.
- Be at least 15 turns and be a close game (back and forth gameplay and comebacks, not you or your friends clobbering some poor 700 by building piperunners)
- Games with unexpected HQ caps, missiles, cruisers, battleships, and piperunners that get legitimate use get bonus points. Spamming meme units at the end after you've won doesn't count.

Happy to be among the few Grits featured on this channel to get a W, it's hard out here in these T2 Eagle/Olaf-infested streets. GG's to Mooji6 and congrats on entering the 1300+ club, he's no doubt learned a lot from this game even before Deejus' scathing condemnation of the zero AA playstyle 😂. I actually remember this game well because I was full baboon brain at the time (25 active league matches; speed moving, etc) and this loss inspired me to slow it down and think deeper. I learned a lot of the lessons Deejus described in the video based on your solid counter play. I'm fighting for the 1400 club now and will look forward to our rematch 👍

I too have learned the hard way that Copters don't compensate for Anti-Air... and I was playing as Sami.

Far as I can tell, blue began responding and adapting to Red's heavy use of battlecopters, but Red was unable or unwilling to adjust when copter counters (TM) were starting to pop up

Yep. As a Max main myself it was killing me that he was not building AA, he should have spammed them. The bomber already paid for itself, it should have been bait and used for charge. It was obvious blue learned his lesson with the useless heavy tanks. He should have just built AAs and use the bomber to bait fighters to kill easily and then steamroll.

Always thought Fighters were sleeper units for Grit. He likes to use his COP a lot too so even if you trade it for a bomber or a couple copters when you get hit during power it will almost always be left alive and let you nibble on some copters or block an artillery just to be annoying for a little longer. Too bad it's hard to get them out with Grit's habit of being behind on income in a lot of matchups.

I played someone off the discord on this map and soon after winning I saw this. I was real happy when I heard you say the t copter was a good opening, cuz I did one and felt galaxy brained

I think Max had this in the bag but huge blunder was not building AA and centering his tactics around the already paid for bomber. Blue was not building anymore heavy tanks, he could have let go of that bomber after killing the neo. One or two AAs near the bomber as bait for that fighter spam, he woulda have been good.

The Max doesn't have experience playing Grit's. And the Grit is building all the wrong units.

So many AWBW replay vids are about the very best players in the world - it's fascinating to take a break and watch a mid level game where the players have general competency, but still make a much higher levelf of mistakes and strange moves that are hard to understand from the outside. There were too many moments in this game where I thought either Highnoon or Mooji had it, only for some boobersnaffery to collapse inward and the game to swing wildly the other way. Tricky to analyse, but very engaging.

Man a few missiles in the back row would have neutered Max's air as well it looks like with that snipe attack range.

If you build too many copters, the fighters will come. Nobody would build more than one fighters unless they know there are many air targets.

Rockets took down 2 b-copters...which is way more than most gameplay analysis that they do nothing. It is the net gain of 6k. It only took using Grit in fog against a 7 b-cops spamming. Believe your dreams folks

If you are referring to what Deejus is humming along to, that is the Grit theme song from the original game. If you mean the background music, I am unsure but Deejus has a playlist called Deejtunes on his channel you can check out.
