INSANE and CRAZY Inverted Roller Coaster in Finland?! | Meet Särkänniemi Amusement Park’s Tornado!

What’s going on guys and welcome back to the channel! If I were to show you a picture of Xcelerator’s track at Knott’s Berry Farm, could you tell me who made it? Many of you I’m sure are thinking Intamin, and it’s not a trick question, you’re most definitely correct. Xcelerator, as with many other coasters made by Intamin, have a very distinct track design easily distinguishable from other types of coasters. And of these other coasters comes one today that I’ll be highlighting, that I have actually been personally able to experience myself, and Intamin SLC! With only 2 ever built, this extreme suspended looping coaster features 5 inversions, a length of over 2,000 feet, and speeds of just under 50 miles an hour. It also has 2 extremely intense heartline rolls and a section of track that feeds through a loop. All of this makes it one of two inverted SLC’s ever built by Intamin to this day, and it has a pretty cool history. So what is this coaster? And where did it come from? I rode Tornado this year on my finland tour. I didn’t expect it to be this good. It’s so much smoother than any Vekoma Slc. It’s intense and has some really good inversions. The Heartline roll through the station is definitely the highlight of the ride. It has also a great setting with all the trees around it. And from what I’ve heard the version in Spain is actually very rough. Särkänniemi is just such a cool park that gets almost no attention and I had a great time there.

Having been on volcano the blast coaster I can say these are great rides! Didn’t know there were other SLCs with Continuous circuits so that’s cool to see 😎👍
