Have had the same experience in MVV some years ago. Police purposely instigated violence at a corteo to the stadium before their derby against Roda, ramming vans through crowded suburban streets and constantly shoving horses into the crowd. Also after the match (nothing happened during the match) They constantly ran their horses through crowds of fans who were trying to leave the stadium. Had to run into the nearby McDonald's for safety.

Twente fan here, and really like your video's. The red card was obviously rightfully given, but for the rest of the game was the referee pure shite. 4 times not stopping when theres a head injury for example. Sad that it ended like this, 11 vs 11 would've been a spectacular game

To be fair I have a soft spot for Lazio. Some of their ultras that moved to cologne for work were responsible for our clubs Ultras. No they are the oldest Ultra Group of Germany, all thanks to 2 Italian brothers from Lazio. There were some calls not called let’s say, but he did leave the match pretty free flow. I think Twente players (likely because in 10) were just slightly late to every 2nd ball and being frustrated didn’t help. But yes, he could have done better, regardless, Lazio deserved to win and likely would’ve done the same be it 11v 11 . We did not get almost Any free kicks when you literally hit our players in the face. He gave an incorrect penalty that (only thanks to Var) got overruled. He never let out players in after Lazio made a Clear foul and we needed medical assistance but it was Still not our free kick as he didnt believe so. You were not playing well at all resulting in a very unclear final match score so you cannot say Anything about it being "clear that lazio would win 11v11 eitherway". You played 10v12 and Fc Twente was even stronger at various pariods during the 2nd half what is emberassing. You also know that u are talking about a club with an incredible rich history, infinite amount of money, budget and valuable players, and you are still struggling against 10 man with the referee on your side. Just be modest and say that the ref was bad and 11v11 would have been tight. Ofcource the win was deserved but with a red card the game was over before it started. Lazio has an incredible team and especially the #20 is great, but you guys did not convince yesterday.

I think that Lazio fans have suffered "indirectly" from the issues Enschede police had with a group of our ultras two years ago. That tie went south from the get go, with both sets of fans being super toxic online and then with fights both here in Florence and in Enschede. Dutch police didn't want to risk anything, probably, so they applied the same restrictions this time round as well...

The reason the police searches so thoroughly is because last season Fiorentina “fans” threw a fireworks bomb down on the Twente fans underneath the away fans. Quite some people got hurt and had hearing damage.

This is just business as usual on how Dutch away fans are treated. Nothing shocking at all. You should even count yourself lucky that you were allowed to travel freely to the match. When my favorite club plays the club in my hometown, then I’ve a total travel time of atleast 10 hours instead of a 30 min (return) walk

I don’t know if it’s better but from my experience flying to Eindhoven and taking the train to Enschede is faster and much less of a headache then from schiphol to Enschede! Price difference aswell, it’s big !

Really? Schiphol is a direct line, I believe? Eindhoven you have to get to Den Bosch, then take the train to Zwolle, get out on Zutphen and then take the train to Oldenzaal and switch trains on Hengelo and get on the train to Enschede. Sounds like much more of a hassle to me.

My uncle usually picks them up for me and posts it, but I have to get it sent first class as they usually only release the tickets a few days before the match.
