This was £1300+ vat drive in drive out, cat back only with basic stainless tips and single mid res only £750+vat.

You have no back pressure, these cars have no manifolds your turbo will overspall and blow, your losing power

Quite a statement to make considering you don't know anything about the car...how do you know turbo is stock? I never mentioned anything about engine setup on the car? Luckily for you though part of your statement is correct. Yes the turbo will overspool but a good custom tune sorts that 90% after an exhaust swap.it's not loosing power that's for sure, would love to see some dyno data that's proving less back pressure is losing power on a turbo engine.. on an N/A engine yes backpressure can be beneficial to some extent but a turbo engine does not need backpressure. The only reason it's an issue on these engine is due to the way the wastegate Duty cycle is set on a stock setup it has to stay closed longer to build boost. When you free up the exhaust flow it no longer needs to stay closed longer and YES they can overboost, maybe loose some bottom end torque but gain top end power.
