Better watch the oil levels on that 275 she burns oil like no other, and they are well known for blowing pencil coils every other week. That motor is great on fuel, shes gonna make that boat fly!

Oh yeah I agree. We have had out fair share of these motors. I have had many leak oil out of the super charger vent and unfortunately Mercury doesnt make a rebuild kit for the chargers. Pencil coild are easy lol. Pretty pumped to get it on the water!

Dude, you are gonna need to tie the high part of the mount into both sides of the transom.. and probably put a heavy tab of glass at the deck/transom joint . PLEASE!!

Definately right with both sides of the transom bracket. And yeah we are thinking a brace going to the stringers on either side to stop the flex.

Haha we sure did. We have a 400R in the shop we were going to mount but thought that may have been overkill.
