Mangrove snappers are heartless thieves.🐟but they are tasty 😋 I'm shocked that while cooking your catch on that deserted island the delicious smells didn't attract a hungry Florida swamp ape🦍 inviting himself to dinner. Great video as always.🎣💝

Nice Jc hopefully I can get on some snook on the beach this weekend
@Floridawoodsbanshee3 жыл бұрын
No hope about it Jacob. Just got to believe. Make your cast and it will happen. Watch your tides. Watch your weather. Barometric pressure plays a bigger part of when sno want to eat. Your not going to force them to eat. Timing is important. And have good baits when they do decide to eat! I might hit the beach this weekend. I'm out most nights on docks. Time for some beach action. Maybe I will see you out there.

Dude that's awesome. Mango on fire. Went out Monday night 2 dink sno. 30 and 22. Bite was slow. So I thought of you. Mango time! Yeah who. 45 minutes later under my favorite Mango dock. 14,15,16,18 and another 18 to end the night. All fish that night caught on small pins 3 to 4 inches. Lol no cook out. I'm going to have to try that on anklote key. Really does look fun. Thanks for your videos. Really is fun to see.

Man, that dock is holdin' some qualiy inshore mangs right there. Sounds like fish taco's are on deck for dinner.
@Floridawoodsbanshee3 жыл бұрын
@@2003zq8 yes it is. Dock is on a deep channel. Bunch of big rocks both sides. Took my friend out 3 weeks ago and he caught his pb mango 20 inches on 9 inch mullet. But it's holding keeper grouper as well. Black grouper my pb 24. And gags my pb 27 inches. Then in the canel itself tarpon all 40 to 45 . On the other side is sno. Pretty cool place. And nobody is fishing it. But I'm always out after midnight so who knows.
@2003zq83 жыл бұрын
@@Floridawoodsbanshee Right On! Now thats a hole... deep water, adjacent structure, no pressure and holdin' quality. Some guys have all the luck.
@Floridawoodsbanshee3 жыл бұрын
@@2003zq8 it was by accident honestly. 2 docks on other side of canal hold 40 in sno. But they didn't want to feed that night. I kept hearing bust on the other side. Other side has no lights. But I knew it was not sno busting So I troller motor over. Boom 18 inch mango. Ended up catching like 20 of them. All 15 to 19 inches. I kept 5 bigger ones. That was 7 months ago. Each time I fish this dock I limit out. Tuesday night though I had a grouper. Turned on my hat light and it was a mango. 21 or 22 inches. She was a beast. Because I catch grouper there as well I only use my smallest sno rod. 8 foot Taramar xx. Rated 40 braid. I'm using 5000 osprey reel Rated 30 lbs drag. With 40 braid an 50 mono. 5/0 j hook. Medium pins. Because dock has no lights I had never considered fishing that spot in 32 years. Always have pins on board and always listen. Fish feed and give away their location.
