My 07 Classic Ex Cab 4.8 LR4, will get a Circle D 300mm 2800rpm Stall, Texas Speed & Performance Chopacabra Cam, PAC 1204X Dual Valve Springs, BTR Advanced Rockers with Michigan Motorsports trunnion bushings, BTR Chromoly pushrods, large Transcool. Eventually would like to find a 9.5 14 bolt Semifloat with 13" disc and dual caliper rear end to get rid of drums. 33's on the stock wheels with a Rake lift (add leaf in back) maybe spindle lift up front (keep same geometry, or coil over shocks. Chrome the wheels (possible to do it nowadays) maybe a H pipe Exhaust (for torque) 3" with Headers. Quadrasteer or Baja flared bed. Bought it in 2016 with 75K on the odo, at 183K currently, so bought and paid for since 2021. This engine will never be boosted as parts put in are for durability and safeguards. I may later build a 383LS using a 4.8 or 5.3

Which truck do you typically look for a RCSB 4.8/5.3 with a 5 speed? I always wanted to do this, the HD front lowered with wide wheels looks so aggressive.

I'm about to put that 9.5 ring 12 bolt rear end from a 17 in my 99, with the measurements I took the 9.5 is 3/4 inch wider so 3/8 inch per side, spring seats are 1/2 wider but with flip kit shouldn't be a problem, shock mounts are 6 inches wider so have to move those and has 1410 ujoint so have to get drive shaft yoke changed and maybe shortened, brake calipers are the same but caliper bracket is different because of the larger rotors, I could swap out the backing plates and use the 99 disc brake stuff since I already have drilled and slotted and ceramics to save me some money undecided at the moment, my ring and pinion gears are missing a couple teeth making this the 3rd rear end breakage so its finally time for me to upgrade to something beefy

Yup the ole 10 bolt needs to go.. 12 bolt, 14 bolt, 8.8, 9 inch, anything else haha 😂

@@lifeonlimiter4519 I got the 12 bolt swapped in, had to move shock mounts in 3 inches and need 3/4 inch off drive shaft gonna drop it off monday to have shortened and have 1410 yoke put on, also had to roll fender lips and stretch bed sides a little to clear the extra 3/8 per side when I lay it out, I trimmed the backing plates to fit my 99 drilled and slotted brake stuff
