In my experience, shutting the engine off spooks the fish. You can see the feeding schools sit when the engine is cut. Also, when fast retrieve isn't working stop retrieving and let your placky sink. I know you know this stuff Bowly. but I think it would help other inexperienced fisho's like your fishing partner in this vid if you said it.
