Firstly huge prayers for the Cal player that went down with what looks to be a pretty significant injury..hoping that it’s not as bad as it looked and all blessings and miracles for him and his family. Don’t want mainly because of that situation to say anything negative because it can always be worse and glad for a W but man it’s gonna be a long season..

DJ on the football field makes me turn the channel every five minutes. Absolutely horrible. Mike Norvell is doing a huge mistake by not getting the backups in look at the gators.

Makes you truly wonder if it’s a moral deal or the fact that they jumped the gun with an NIL deal and just can’t stomach riding him on the pine because of that fact alone. Either way feel like it’s a huge mistake and disservice to player’s actually invested and future at the QB position for us and is gonna cost and linger into the 2025 season.

But, the gators have a Lagway as a backup; whereas, FSU has a Brock apparently. Norvell has absolutely no faith in Glenn and then I have heard that Luke is a project! Huh? Since when is Luke a project QB. No doubt MN is waiting for that Trammell Jones (?) or whomever to come it and take over.

We have no hope we can barely drop double digits. The defense played decent but… it was cal. I appreciate the depth we put out there on defense, there were some young guys who made some plays… we need to sit DJ no matter how you look at it , the seasons over, we can’t score, no one wants to play for dj, and Mike Norvell needs to start making some tough decisions.

Atkins needs a raise. The online was pretty good tonight for the 1st time. More personnel changes needed on both sides. I know this team is elite, the coaches ONLY have to get the right players on the field. Too many underperforming starters, but there are better players on the bench dying for play time. Lundy, Jones and Jackson need way less snaps. Cryer, Turner, Sampson and Lyons need much more. Hykeem to WR1. Thomas or Amaree to TE1. LT to RB1 permanently. Give Brock some damn snaps since he's our starter next year and can not be worse than DJ. No more WR screens! More slants! Slants were killing Cal, then Mike stopped calling them in favor of WR screens for negative yards every time

Has anyone else noticed this team starts out great at a fast pace? Apparently GT and Cal noticed enough to kill the in helmet communications on their side to slow down the tempo. Could/Should we have a secondary set as a backup for opposing teams that incur technical difficulties?

Do not gloss over the 3 and outs or the 4th and 7 try. These are the reason DJ must go. He has more 3 and outs than TDs or even successful drives. Let's now look at each drive as pass or fail. How many successful drives compared to failures?

How can DJ be our best option?! How are we not recruiting any qb's??? Other than Travis, we have not recruited a decent qb for years!? I see average teams all over with solid qb's... what's the deal??? It's a shame...we have a defense... and it could be much better if we had any offense AT ALL.

New theory, they are building up DJ and giving him a chance until he plays Clemson, after DJ gets his chance to play his old team and get that narrative out of the way he will be benched and the young guys will get a shot

The fact that Norvell will not let Brock play a series or two and rides with DJ lets you know that Brock is NOT going to be the QB going forward.

U don’t have to necessarily start Brock, but develop a few packages for him. Prepare home for reps every week. Make the offense more dynamic in certain situations.

The defense misses too many tackles The defense is not fast enough to get to tge edges. The offense is pitiful... Poor play calling Terrible qb. He is slow and indecisive. I'll take the win...but this win was embarrasing.

It was a dumpster fire that we didn't win because we were doing things right. Cal lost that game, they basically gave it to us. The best player on the field is the kicker and stupid play calling kept him off the field. 3 points that would have secured the game even if they scored. The over celebration by the players and coaches is pathetic. The players should want more, not barely being able to score against cal. Come on man seems like they are all OK with less than mediocre. And I'm a life long fan but geez I have to keep turning it off because it's a straight dumpster fire.

And Navy got 56 on Memphis....nearly 600 yds I think. I'm less worried about SMU crushing TCU than I am looking at the Navy game. Are there players more talented than ours? Likely not...but they play as a team, not for $, they play hard, and they have a coaching staff that designs an offense to be successful based on their skills/talents. If fans call for BG/LK I can understand that, but the coaching and team culture need to be "benched" before DJU....hope someone slips a copy of that box score under FSU's staff doors.

I stopped watching their games last year and just listen on the radio so I can do other things; so many flat games last year that were only interesting because FSU needed to scrape by late in the game. This year? I can't imagine the boredom and sadness of actually sitting down and watching for 3 hours. First, the ads keep getting longer and play on the field shorter, but more importantly it is just a waste of time to watch the defense give up long 3rd and 4th downs all game while most of the offensive possessions are 3 and outs. Even when they score it is a lot of dinking and dunking down the field, the kind of stuff I used to look down on when other teams would do it to us when we were good. I don't get into the fire this guy or bench that guy talk, especially this year, because there are systemic failures from top to bottom. Hoping, for their sake, and I'm not talking about just football, everyone in the program can look at what they can do to improve and put in the work to get there.

The amount of 3 and outs by FSU was disgusting. 6 punts, an INT, and a Turnover on downs. 8 out of 10 possessions we did nothing.

FSU is the worst team in all of college football, no matter the level or division. Why they still have a program after the NCAA and ESPN gave them the death penalty after last season is crazy to me. Shut down the entire athletic department and move on.

Worst FSU victory I've ever witnessed. Just awful, unwatchable football. MAYBE they can upset SMU. MAYBE they beat Charleston Southern. But they are going to get their asses handed to them repeatedly after SMU. Hell, even Duke is gonna punch them in the mouth. Just awful coaching and undisciplined play throughout the game. Hard to be positive after what I saw tonight.
