Sweet set up brother 💯 , remember David Van Morris was running 8 seconds on his single turbo Mustang with the factory oil pump gear set up , I think he was the fastest Mustang on stock factory oil pump gears with a factory untouched engine 💯👍 , bad to the bone brother

Question - what do you feel are the best extra security measures you can add to your car? I know the club is useless since the wheel could be removed or cut but I want to add something to my '15 Scat Pack Shaker as I work in a bad area. The main goal is try to prevent as much as possible knowing that is all you can do. Current employer knows it is a bad area but won't add cameras or security claiming "we have enough measures" even after an Escalade was damaged in broad daylight that was directly in front of mirror reflective windows & no one saw the person who did it (yes HR ended up being involved but no changes made). I'm going to get the update when Dodge releases it but would feel better if there was anything else I can add.

Going to need to invest more, 1000-2000 in the rear suspension, subframe collars, suspension/traction arm, and braces to put that power down.

Racer X, that mustang is going to be friggen sick when finished! I'm still trying to adjust to you leaving dodge for Ford. But when you got a better platform to build upon, you gotta go with it. I've been watching weather channel last few days and seems like Texas is under water. Hopefully you can find some dry pavement to put all that power down. I'm still a dodge fan, but like you, can't wait to see what that mustang can do. Also just throwing it out there, maybe you can use the song Hellion by Judas Priest as your theme song. It's bad ass song, just like it's a bad ass mustang. Peace from the North East!

Its still a work in progress at the moment.. likely a 9 in the front with a 10.5 wheel in the back.. I will probably run a 555R in the back since they do better in the rain than the Street SS's do

Peitz is a great tuner.. Gearheads does great mechanical work and does tuning as well. The issue is that Peitz is in Houston and Gearheads is local so it much more accessible to me. I trust them both ..

It's actually the oposite.. it works better for both cooling and general airflow.. plus there's less relocating of parts with this setup

I built sleepers for a living. Exhaust does not make it a sleeper 😂 Mustangs are not sleepers. Now my 1978 Olds Delta 88 4 door, stock looking with hub caps that has a 468 stroker in it is a sleeper. 😎 Whisper quiet 😂

I think it depends on how you define a sleeper .. I have seen a mini cooper that would run low 9's lol.. It still looks like a stock Mustang GT.. just makes more than double the power... It's all relative I suppose

I out ran the police in Pa back in the 90's with mine. 😎 Can you build up a mustang, yes. Is it a sleeper ? Debateable, many expect a mustang to do something (other than crowd surf 😂) But if you just switch your scenario a bit, it would work. Start with an LX, then swap the GT or Cobra or Saleen package under it. Now you have a sleeper. I did that with my 86 LX. To put it into perspective, my neighbor has 31 mustangs. He has a few rare ones but his pride & joy is his 98 Cobra. People expect that car to be fast, its a legit Cobra. This man custom built the motor & intake / drivetrain. I would say a Coyote would get spanked, hard, by that car because he races his uncles built Yamaha R1 and does not lose. Is that a sleeper ? It looks stock, but its a Cobra. Its not a sleeper unless you cannot tell what a built motor sounds like. If you know, then you know its not a sleeper, its a freakin Monster ! Not tryin to argue, but I guess people have different ideas as to what a sleeper is

Sir there a dealer here in ohio sown in Cincinnati that does all this kind of work on new mustang's and it doesn't voided the warranty at all. They do 650 to 750 hp mustang gts dealership is called Beechmont ford.

RacerX I have a question. Don't you have to worry about ring gaps? It is a stock engine right? Are you going to limit the amount of boost? What do you think the maximum boost is that you can run?

The Coyote is more robust from the factory .. completely different design but it still has it limitations. I will be running it at a max of 10psi on wastegate until the engine and trans and fully built up. Should still be rocket even at that boost level though
