The issue with Sire Denathrius is control decks don't play enough fodder and they need to tutor him early. But Druid can abuse this card like you said. Double Flipper Friends double Scale of Onyxia makes Denathrius deal 31 damage without even trying + you can double the battlecry with Brann. It's honestly really spoopy.

Worth noting Druid can also probably tutor him with Capture Coldtooth Mine, so they can get started on pumping him up nice and early. Not sure if you're willing to cut Onyxia for that effect, or if you're maybe just happy taking the 50/50.

Also it's crazy to think we've come so far that 4 mana for 2 3/3s is considered too much; it probably would've been an auto-include in even witchwood-era zoolock even without the infuse

I personally love the idea and design of Remornia, Living Blade. Like its just so flavourfull. Immediately reminds me of like alucard's sword in the castlevania thingy on netflix. Cant say how strong it is tho, havent played HS in forever.

Sinstone Graveyard should read "Summon a 1/1 Ghost with *Stealth"* as I've never seen a card that has "Stealthed" written on it. Otherwise, yeah it's a pretty good card.

also what's the point of writing "each OTHER card you played this turn" what does this mean? every 2 cards give +1/+1? surely not it doesn't count itself? only matters for the first ghost, and would it matter? the card hsa some strange wording all around

My read on that: the effect excludes the location itself.

The Rogue Prime card says "Permanently Stealthed". I think they've used the word stealthed other times too "each other card" is fine wording. Yes, it's only relevant for the first ghost as far as I can tell, but it's wording used on Prize Plunderer & the similar one that can hit heroes being used in wild right now (I forget the name), and many more I believe Disclaimer: I'm going by memory here, please correct me if I'm wrong

Inatiable devourer just seems like a really good control card, even witout the infuse, natalie seline was a similar effect at one less cost, so I think this could also see play in priest or any other control deck.

Yeah, I think he has an issue with undervaluing anything that costs more than 5... which is fair due to how fast the game has become, but in reality it's not thaaaat difficult to play something that costs 9 and still be alive after. The starfish point was also fair and I don't think the card will be oppressive in any meta, but it looks a lot more powerful than he's giving it credit for. Certainly better than the abomination, the difference between an effect being random or targeted is massive when you're trying to snipe exactly their largest minion. It'll almost always be a 2-4 for 1 while also creating a "deal with this now or die" threat, as a neutral card. This thing has the potential to be obnoxiously strong in control mirrors, won't be surprised at all if it sees at least a bit of play and certainly when some off-meta deck slams it down against you it'll cause some problems.

@@TheSquareOnes Yeah I always forget how fast-paced the game nowadays, but I always see things in a control perspective because those are just the decks I like to play and are used to. I'm sure it won't be a staple but I guess it can be a middling card to be put into control decks. Probably in a bunch of more tempo heavy renathal decks.

Can you buff Remornia with new keywords? i.e. if you give it lifesteal or poisonous, or extra +X/+X buffs? Could be pretty strong in fringe conditions if that is the case.

I feel like Great Hall can claim a spot in even paladin, where you summon a dude every two turns anyways and play proper cards the other turns

Yeah, Great Hall doesn't seem that great, but we had cards in the past that "scare" the opponent being kinda good. Obviously this wouldn't work against weak minions, but it could delay your opponent playing their stronger minions while the Paladin could build a strong board and win from there.

Imagine going the pally location though, especially in Arena, it's like the opponent having a stealthed poisonous guy and you can't play half your cards otherwise he trades for free, you can't play your big idiots otherwise they will be 3/3s for free, three times, without counterplay (other than the location hate tech)

The Location cards have been pretty underwhelming. I am also not super into the "flavor" of how the mechanic works. It's odd that a location would exist like a dormant minion on board and go away after a certain number of uses. Idk, just seems like it could have been implemented differently. Not sure how.

You saw the precursor to the Location card type in Alterrac Valley with cards like Frostwolf Kennels and Wildpaw Cavern. Regardless of flavor, I wouldn’t sleep on some of them as they are clearly pushed for value. Whether or not value matters remains to be seen.

Am I the only one who thinks the power level is creeping up again in this set? At this point in reveal season, you’d be seeing a lot more pack filler than we have now. Every card is, at worst, OK with most being pretty good.

I think they should change locations to be usable every turn. Paying for a weak effect that's not even available every turn is weird.
