Funny enough eye of purification was enhanced bis in firelands. But blizz made it so enhance couldn’t benefit directly from spell power/int in dragonsoul

Way back in the day it looked really bad. The face was all weird and boxy and the animations were really bad with the flames. They at one point updated the model, it may look better now

Fun fact. Back in OG Cata, blizzard bugged the drop of Rag’s mount for a few days, allowing it to drop guaranteed in normal. I believe it was just after Dragon Soul dropped. It’s how my GM got one.

9:46 Enhancement shamans have a passive ability that disables their ability to benefit from spellpower. Neither intellect nor raw spellpower do anything at all for them. (aside from int increasing mana I guess) Instead their spellpower scales with their attack power.

Just to clarify @7:15 - transmogging Fandral's Flamescythe did not give you the appearance in Cataclysm and still doesn't in retail, the only way to change cat appearance is through the barber

Loot comes and goes with every tier and mounts are essentially just cosmetics, so those are pretty irrelevant to me. I'm just excited to revisit Firelands and progressing through those heroics with my mates.

I'm excited for firelands because of the achievements and that's about it. I don't find raiding all that enjoyable in cata it's got a weird difficulty to it that just doesn't seem the same as anything that's come before it. I don't mind the challenge personally but it's a painful waste of time when you have anyone that's not prepared.

Yea and a 1% drop from normal, the normal part never changed. Its still 1% from normal on retail. But as you say, its 100% drop from heroic until MoP Pre Patch.

@@Scottejaye fair enough, but yeah one of enhances spec bonuses is "mental quickness" which gives 55% of ap as SP, but you dont benifit from other sources of Sp so building spellpower does nothing for enhance anymore
