Did it wit my boomie today. It is managable, since druids can heal themself quite a lot. However, I needed two tries at the last boss (stood brain-afk in fire), with a break in between. There was no portal, so i ran back to Thyrinar. However, I was then stuck at the canyon, had to port back, break up the quest and start all over again -.- . For me, Thyrinar worked out by mostly using dots, instants, starfall and typhoon (for the adds), only spradically using wrath and starfire. When there was time for casting, I mostly used it to heal myself, or sometimes for a wrath or starfire on an add. I used the silence only one time during the whole fight (on Thyrinar), but he immediately flew out of it. Probably just bad timing. That way, it was a very long fight (just checked the log, 12 minutes, wtf), but not exspecially hard. In my opinion, the mobs at the beginning and the platforms without the orbs were much harder than the last fight. For the platfom jumping, you can survive the big cast using barkskin, if the orbs are not woking! My boomie has ilvl 369 and survived with about 20%. The changes to hunter and the virtual disappearance of the social aspect of the game in MoP are why I quit back then and I expect is why I will stop playing again. My guild is much more cohesive and social this time around so maybe not....we shall see.

7:53 - you say that only Smite heals through Atonement in Cata, but Holy Fire does as well. Even says so on the tooltip, but you can also hear the Atonement sound effect from the Holy Fire DoT if you pay attention. Only the addition of Penance to Atonement is new.

Completely overhyped and will die as soon as people do a raid and realize they're 15th on prio for loot behing 15 warriors. People wanted fresh TBC not this. The play right now is to continue playing SoD (or cata if you are still playing that) til the end and then roll a toon when the tbc prepatch hits. Also no dual spec from the jump will ensure the death of these servers even quicker. The whole "hype" behind these servers isn't even for the game itself, it's for the fresh/leveling aspect. Cutting out the ability to respec on the fly while lvling and getting pre-bis is mind numbingly stupid.

I am not very excited for MoP with the absolute lack of "love" put into Cata overall. They drag the phases out too long for my taste (just like in WotLK). I think I will move on to something else after a couple heroic Dragonsoul clears. I am having a lot of fun in the Ashes of Creation Alpha test weekends & PoE2 looks amazing. I am sure dozens of people will enjoy seeing MoP again. Have fun!
