Speaking as someone who has made similar errors in college, running crazy hard workouts like this generally don't translate to great racing performances down the road. It seems great at the time, and leaves you feeing stoked about knocking down a monster workout you are shocked you could even complete. Problem is, these slobber knockers often result in athletes leaving their best races on the track in practice and being weirdly tired and unable to produce similar or better results in a race. Don't fall for that trap. You will regret it later on.

Appreciate the insight. This is a workout that we do that by no means is representative of most of the stuff we do on a weekly/monthly basis. Just a snapshot into a workout that is always looked upon fondly
