@@5oglock474 1) the noise comes from the front of the car 2) the pump struggles when the driver turns the steering wheel 3) an electric power train doesn’t struggle and lose rpm like that when coasting 4) I own a tesla it doesn’t make anything remotely close to this sound 5) i saw an ev conversion that made this noise and the builder told me it’s because they had an electric oil pump for the steering rack

Had it been a big V8 under the bonnet for the Gemera, it would be more difficult to determine the gap between high performance and good practicality; as a mid-engine configuration with a big engine would usually limit practicality aspects such as a decent boot and space for rear seats. The camless 2 litre 3-cylinder engine for the Gemera was aptly named the "Tiny Friendly Giant" for a good reason; it might have 5 less cylinders than the usual V8's but it packs a pretty big punch of horsepower. And the Gemera name means "to give more" since that Koenigsegg was intended to be a grand tourer. Unlike traditional grand tourers such as the Aston Martin DB11, the rear seats in the Gemera were fully accessible through the long dihedral doors and can comfortably fit adults.
