If the focus is just getting a placement in an IT company then IISc is not the right place. In other institutes the same can be achieved in much lesser effort. At IISc you get much more in terms of knowledge and expertise. It is going to be hard and involve real mathematics and computer science unlike other places. If one gets in IISc then they are previliged becuase in no other institute you get to learn those things. People don't care about placements here. Ofcourse all the companies come but they hire for challenging roles rather than simple development work and competition is very high. Getting a software development job off campus is no big deal if the student prepares coding him/herself because institute doesn't waste time on that. The courses will be focussed on higher level stuff. IISc students have all options open such as doing internship in some lab in IISc where they get research exposure. They directly go for PhDs after that and further pursue a career in research and academics or join some company at research role. Or they crack some interview on/off campus for basic development role. If the student is dedicated then they get lot of open options. But everything is harder in IISc. One can't clear a course without actually studing it properly.

Everything depends on you. If you consider the age a big factor then it is and if you don't care about it then no one else does. It varies from individual to individual. You earn less during PhD. Everyone handles money or personal things like marriage/children etc. differently. It'll take 5~6 years of hard effort to complete. One has to have that dedication, patience and ability to handle failures. I started at 29. But my mindset is different. I never care about age or quitting. If I want to do something, without wasting any time I just go for it. I don't get impacted by factors like age, society, family or future opportunities. Everything has challenges. If I want to do something then I just start working on it.

I have used lot of different ones over the years. As long as it is authentic and has more than 80~85 % protein content per scoop, it's fine. I just buy the one that is cheaper at that time. Typical brands like muscle blaze are farzi. They sell less protein content per box in similar price as the imported ones. There is no point of paying for that unless they sell it in half price because they are made in India. All results depend on rest of the diet, rest and workout. A specific protein has very less role to play in terms of results.

Go for IISc if you want something more challenging. With respect to opportunity both the places can get you in ISRO. At IISc it'll be comparatively easier since you may get chance to atleast have an idea what ISRO projects are people working on at IISc.

I can only see lot of fancy keywords and can't understand what you want to know. You need to learn to frame your questions correctly. In any case, your focus should be just the preparation right now and then choose a research field of your interest if you want to go in research.

I can't say for certainity. ISRO has not required biologists so far. It all depends on the projects. We are not yet there to conduct biology research work dedicated to the specific space projects at ISRO. Nasa has work for biologist. In any case, both organizations require highly capable candidates. Just having a PhD degree doesn't guarantee that.
