Lies on everything except the weaponry. When it comes to living on a sub, the public is given the cheeriest and rosiest image possible. Actual life on the sub is miserable, crowded, cramped with sharp objects for humans to bang their heads, knees, elbows on and slash their skin and uniforms. Sanitation is of strictly minimal importance and peer pressure and lousy culture isolates new members and treats them poorly for the first year of their lives until they have earned their fish. Basically, suffer with poor morale until you get your fish.
