Yeah, I sometimes get the feeling repairing isn't worth it. Got an awesome early vest (citizen uniform) invested some money in it after repairing it and after an hour or so i found an incredibly more powerful armor on the roof of some unfinished building in the garbage region. The gear tinkerers definitely get the most money in this game.

Yea tbh it does make it a bit of a grind but keep in mind we couldn't even repair or upgrade guns in the first game, nor could we fast travel, improve carrying capacity, let alone having a stash that is accessible across the entire map (the yellow stash boxes)

For anyone doing it on xbox by the time you place the ammo back in your inventory quickly tap A and Y as fast as possible to make it fast. Too slow will just return the ammo with no added money.

Hello everyone! You don't actually need a keyboard and mouse to perform this glitch. I'm currently using a controller to do the money glitch by selling bandages. To do this, sell the trader your bandages and then click and drag them back to your inventory. Next, press A and Y simultaneously. You should see a prompt to return your items, and after that, you'll receive your money and items. Very easy and simple 11/23/24

In fact, I always repair all my weapons and armor everytime I visit the town and buy whatever ammo I need. Now all I worry about is survival and exploring which opens up the fun for a game like this much more.

If you want to do it faster, do it with grenades. NPCs are dropping q bunch of them, you can find them anywhere in the game and they are kinda useless right now ( i threw 8-10 nades at a well packed dozen of pigs and none died). Each cost 400 if you sell it using the glitch, i stacked up 65 of them exploring cordon and the lesser zone. 26k per one trade, did 2mil in 5 mins

If you're trying to do this on xbox put all your bandages in the sell box bring it back press A in an empty square then Y almost immediately there needs to be slight delay, youll hear the mony transfer and the option to return your stuff. Try with just a few bandages so you can buy it back and try to get the timing right

bro is saying ammo isn't stackable as he tries to stack 2 different ammo types lol. If you sleep for 2 cycles the trader resets. IDK if the first trader has shotgun slugs but slugs seem to work the best since you don't have to wait as long to get a full stack. Just buy the slugs and some food from him repeatedly until you have a full stack of slugs (900 rounds). This will net you 96k per confirm

But granted, it's difficult to differentiate between some FMJ, AP and stuff. What got me completely off guard was when trying to reload a gun with just a few rounds left in your pocket but less than a full magazine, then it will automatically switch to a different type of ammo.

Missed a vital bit of info. The trader can not have any of what you’re trying to sell back to him. Also you only have to sleep once. And finally the .308 stacks up to 900 a time and that seems to be the highest payout

Just did this on console and got it nailed down to consistant dupes. Merely select a stackable item, and hit *X* to "sell all" but grab the stacked item from the sell window and drag it back to an open slot in your inventory and then hit *A* and then *Y* ...don't press both at the same time or the game may register the *Y* imput first. *A* -> *Y* Should have a "return all items" prompt if you do it fast enough (no its not fractions of a fraction of a second speed) hit the return all option and you've done the dupe...simple

okay. the best way to exploit this glitch is to sell vests. new items stack as well. what i found was sleep and use the general trader to buy the vest (only in the first town because i havent progressed the game enough yet. but im sure there are other general stores with more expensive loot with a bed next to them) stack the vest they sell way more. i can do 200k per glitch. now what i do to future proof cause im sure they will patch this glitch, Buy everything the trader sells. that way if the glitch gets patched and you somehow run out of money you can sell your stacked gear for money and if you are afraid of selling your personal guns by accident, upgraded guns/gear do not stack and they have a gear icon so you know which items are yours and which are stacked to sell. example. i have a modified viper and theres a seperate stack of 100 vipers i can sell in the future if my 2 billion coupons ever run out... is also nice to have 5k of ammo per caliber lol. happy hunting stalkers. thumbs up so other players can see this as well!

By the way, it works for Gear too if they are exactly the same and have the same durability. So you can buy his gas mask, sleep, buy it again, and repeat until you're selling a huge stack of gas masks for thousand

Veteran stalker here. Played all the stalkers, most popular mods. Gamma,misery etc. dont feel bad about doing it. Before i found out about it i had a stash full of ammo meds and all sorts. Tried to sell 80 medkits to see how much it will be and the dude offered me like 6 7 k💀🤣. Theres something wrong with the economy. To repair a suit from like 30 percent is like 36 k. In my eyes thats just no realistic. Like i wouldnt mind the cost. But the price they offer for all the other shit especially med kits and good weapons is ridiculous. Its the Zone. Until they fix it dont feel bad about doing it. But also dont abuse it.

You can get free loot from the arena if you drop it in front of the guy before he takes your arena gear back, then pick it back up after you grab your own stuff from the safe. The 3rd match gives you really good gear.

Quick tip to make a lot more coupons, get multiples of the same weapon or armor repair to 100% so you can stack them then do the glitch with the stack of guns or armor

This doesn’t work in the same way as of about 20mins ago. Last night I was doing it fine but now you can only do it once at a time. You have to do it once, then exit trade and go straight back in and do the glitch again, then exit and back in. If I tried it more than once per trade it stopped returning the item & I had to buy it back again.

Of course it goes without saying that you do this at your own risk and only if you dont mind ruining the coupon grind. If you guys are looking for fast money, dont bother with the ammo or medkits for long. Buy the armor he sells, sleep 2x, go back and buy another armor. 9 of the armor sells for like 120k with this glitch. And yes. They do stack. You can leave them in your stash and use the glitch for a quick 120k whenever you need some quick coupons.

It's so hard to make money in this game that i think this glitch wouldn't fuck up the game experience, it's much harder than the first game shadow of chernobyl, and something i still don't get is how on earth you repair a gun and then you sell it fully repaired and you lose money, so you can't earn money finding weapons and getting them repaired...not any sense.

There's a toggle button for showing and hiding your equipped gear. It's E on PC. Try it. You may have hit the button or key on accident.

Works on Xbox with keyboard and mouse and btw it has to be an item he doesn't have but you can always buy all his stock to make a bigger stack and then sell to him over and over again. I've been getting 13k at a time of AK ammo And as far as ruining the game, I think the weight limits kind of limit how much you can ruin the game because you cant carry too much anyways. It definitely isn't the legit experience but my ocd has been making me waste time at zalissya trying to spend every penny to get whatever upgrade I can or whatever ammo I can and it's slowed my progress big time lol 12 hours in and I haven't even done everything in the lesser zone
