I'm yet to play any lifetaker build without slowing tether on weapon because that is what I used for the 700 upgrade ages ago and did not care enough to change it, but I think diminishing orb is a lot better if you aren't just farming players with crap gear/skill (like the guy who leaped over your head but you clipped anyway lol). Realistically the only melee you will struggle with as musket are Hatchet/SnS and it counters both, whereas if you take slowing tether they both counter you even more than they already did. Orb on weapon gets rid of berserk/defiant.

i use the haste passive with musket, literally just dodge and you get 3s of haste, it's basically 100% uptime so i guess it may be possible with the boots if you just use dodges a fair bit to trigger the haste

Elemental band will be fixed eventually so going for full harnesing is still the play i think, also playing lifetaker build with 50 con i wouldnt recommend going for slash conditioning because it doesnt really change anything, if your positioning is bad you're dead no matter what. it only takes 1 autolock leap from a hatchet boi and its game over might aswell send full damage perks all the way

harnessing doesnt matter when we get our empower cap from other sources now, in regards to more defensive perks even with 50con slash cond has saved me a bunch and I can tank hatchets quite well now.

I would like to have a musket that I can use for both PvP and PvE. I did kill someone on Delos in my invasion gear and with a Wifetaker the other night. xD I'm thinking about Distain Infliction on a Syncretic Musket for invasions but Vicious is something I mainly have in mind. I'm running Creed Boots for that as ambush damage is what I'm going for.

Be interested in your view on this build in 3v3? I know you mainly run larger scale PvP like OPR and wars. In 3v3 I find the musket very effective still, I prefer it to the bow now (even though the bow has always been my fav weapon). However, given 3v3 is very close quarter it feels like if you run musket & LT it's very easier to be caught and blown up by bruisers unless you have an effective pre-built group. Would you say the rapier musket combo is better for 3v3's?

Farmed 3 hours for that Musket. Tried the build without elemental band and 626 musket only without the perk Distained Infliction, because I didn't want to spend 20k gold on some theory. And the build hits like a wet noodle without those 2. Cant kill anything. Joined a OPR for item normalization and my dots without those 2 items were hitting for 60-80 dmg, maybe 100. VOid on all gear pieces like he said. Cant explain how that single perk with 5% and that ring can pull out 10x dmg on dots.

That GS700, with all the damaging perks like you mentioned in the video, void damage on all pieces, endless thirst for empored uptime, but lacking the ring , and weapon perk, the dot dmg is very low, and you cannot kill anything as it hits for 1, 2 k hits, 3k crits and the dots are only max 100 dmg .

@@MaleOreo For the life of me I can't figure out what. I was so happy that I got the rifle and also I had a ring with 7% void dmg, that on the ah was like 20k gold. I was very happy until I tried it. Not sure of those 2 perks are bugging somehow and creating that much difference, or if there is a void g rotation that I am not using properly before I start shooting the rifle.

But elemental runeglasses actually do a little bit less than 5% because of all the different elements we run with an elemental band setup. For Elemental Runeglasses all thats getting buffed is: -50% split But with Sighted we are buffing: -50% Ele Split, -Runeglass DoT, -Bleeds (Keenly Jagged & Deadeye) -50 Thrust Split -Powder Burn -Attunement
