These ar super cool! but girl, we need some summer pants for women, something relaxed or baggy that will allow some ventilation while riding at 85-degree sunny weather... light or off-white color. I'm so done with sitting at a light during the summer wearing black or dark denin fitted pants. I've been looking for good summer pants forever, please help us! ❤

Love that you say this because I'm about to test out a pair of lightweight pants in a light tan/beige! I know another woman owned company developing some summer pants in army green as well. I'll report back!

I ride with the Pando Moto Chinos as my summer pants, last summer in 100 degree weather in France, I had no complaints! As long as you're moving on the bike they're fine, they can feel a little warm when you're stopped and walking around, but I'm not sure there's any protective moto pants that wouldn't start to feel that way in the summer heat 😅 I'd definitely recommend them though! That Husky Sherpa Trucker Jacket looks great, perfect autumn weather jacket! 😁 How much room is there on that inside zipper pocket? Would you fit a phone/wallet in there?

Nice! Good to know that they're not to stuffy in the heat. We don't have any in my size and since they're men's I probably won't be testing them out myself. The inside zip pocket on the trucker jacket is perfect for a phone or wallet!

Polyurethane clothing has very high thermal conductivity. Meaning when you fall and slide on the asphalt, it will get very hot and burn in your skin. The Commando is Polyethylene though, I hope that that has less thermal conductivity. EDIT: according to wikipedia, UHMWPE has a melting point of 130 to 136 °C (266 to 277 °F). Not something you want to slide around in, even though it has an AAA rating…

Class AAA protection on that UHM jacket is great. How would you compare it to Lazyrolling's armored hoodie in terms of air flow?

I'd say similar but different! This one will likely feel more breezy overall since it doesn't have the reflective material blocking any wind. Granted on the Lazyrolling hoodie that is only through the chest and upper arms. The Lazyrolling performance hoodie gets the most airflow through the lower 2/3 of the jacket and the Pando gets most of the airflow through the mesh at the front and slightly less through the UHM sections (but still more than the 3M reflective lets through). Hope that helps!

I’m getting to the point where I’ll buy sturdy clothing and then stitch in my own armor. A lot of clothing these days the armor just sits funny, especially with the pants. When you’re standing the armor sits by your shins, but when your bike they might be closer to your knee caps.

Kevlar is not abrasion resistant. Dupont will tell us this from the source. It is highly susceptible to fibrillation. Google it. In order to be used in motorcycle gear it must be blended with other textile material. It has great tensile strength so if a design can utilize that property without subjecting the material to abrasion, you might have something. Short story is there are much better materials available. Do your research. You don’t have to accept my claim. Kevlar is a trigger word in marketing, and it is often misunderstood.

I like my motorcycle riding jeans. But I wish there was a company that placed the pocket for the knee armor on the outside of the pants. Often times the knee pads will move around, and the only way to adjust it is to take off the pants. If the pockets for the armor were on the outside of the pants, then I would have the freedom to adjust it on the fly, or even remove it completely once I arrive at my destination. If you look up "work pants with knee pads" you will see what I am talking about. I know there are a lot of riders who wouldn't mind having the pockets on the outside. Would be nice for when I ride my motorcycle to the beach, and want to be able to go for a long walk on the beach without my pads.

Get self adhesive Velcro and put a 1" strip on the pads and the pocket (opposite your skin side of the pocket).

Lol, it has been 100 - 110+ degrees in arizona. Summer jacket that is black. Clearly not made by someone that has been in the Arizona heat. Needs to be white. That black color when it is 110 out will roast you to over 120+. It is next to impossible to find motorcycle jackets & pants that are not black. Real shame those of us who live in a very hot climate. Have such a small selection of real summer jackets & pants.

I'd say that the commando is pretty unflattering on women, but the other base layers they have are great options! I plan to test them out personally and make a designated video. There's a bodysuit one that's super promising
