I really appreciate that you two truly clean up a yard. You don’t leave clumps of dead grass like the other KZbinrs. And you pick up the trash and don’t just run over it spreading it around. If you lived in my town, I’d hire you in a heartbeat.

I don't do professional, but I was thinking one day, "They have blowers, but there has to be a vacuum for lawns.". I found one! B&D had one that cost me about $50 at Walmart. Comes with blower/vacuum. I have been using it several years now and LOVE IT! Works great and saves time for trimmings and also works GREAT to vacuum leaves. Even breaks them down. One of the best investments I've ever made. Just wanted to share. 🙂🙏

With all the good comments everyone is leaving I hate to be the one to be negative, but several times I was waiting for the guy with the trimmer to get run over by the mower. Maybe it was just the camera angle. At around 21:00 there is a lady walking on the sidewalk. At that point I always stop, turn the blades off and wait until it's clear. Hitting her with a rock or other debris would be disasterous and costly. Other than that, Great video.

My thoughts exactly, at 26min 20 sec he stepped right in front of him while blowing off the sidewalk/grass as he's going pretty fast cutting the lawn then continued to get in his way for a few seconds after that like he was a matador with a bull.

I love, love, love that you bagged the trash and the edger clippings. But I wish you had bagged all of the clippings. The equipment is available for doing that, you know. For example, one could use a riding vacuum and a bag on the riding mower. For so many lawn care companies, it seems that the convenience and pleasure of the mowing personnel takes precedence over the customer's needs. In this video, I am not sure of the reason for mowing the same portions of lawn five times. From a business perspective, that's not an efficient use of time.
@realMDLawnCare
@realMDLawnCare 3 жыл бұрын
i see what you mean man, i really do need to get my hands on a bag! So that I can stop wasting so much time trying to mulch it up
@JCAH1
@JCAH1 3 жыл бұрын
@@realMDLawnCare Well, we both know that mulching is faster, more convenient and less work for the mowing personnel, but depending on the amount of dead leaves and the original length of the grass and weeds, mulching leaves the client with a lawn full of chopped crud. That's not something anybody wants their children playing in.

If whomever would put that camera down and get to work (as he did in the background at 8:54), he'd get done a whole lot faster. Anyway, a bagger is just a waste of time - which is why so few pros use them. Much easier and quicker to simply mulch.

@melodyhalliday3762
@melodyhalliday3762 3 жыл бұрын
We collect clippings 90% of the time on residential properties. Walker mowers or push mowers with baggers. Use 61” standers for bigger places that don’t require collection. All grass goes into a truck mounted vacuum with dump box. Grass gets dumped for free at a local topsoil supplier and composted. That lawn would have taken one, maybe two, passes with a Walker and it would have been mowed and vacuumed. Edge and trim, do another pass with the Walker if necessary. Blow it off and you’re done.

Wow, I would be in so much trouble if I worked like that! Completely disorganized, putting the public at risk, dragging the drive wheel on every turn, no stripes, etc. And really, that length of grass is only two weeks growth around here.

Why would you not bag the grass on the mower if there's weeds in the lawn?

Thank you....ALWAYS pick up trash before to not damage blades or have cuts of paper all over the place. But why are your lines all over the place. GREAT job though!
@realMDLawnCare
@realMDLawnCare 3 жыл бұрын
We always like picking up trash before the cut. In the past we would have problems with little pieces of paper all over the place. My lines aren’t perfect, because it’s nearly impossible to get them straight when the yard was looking like that, give it like 3 more cuts and the lines will be back in business. Thank you!🙏🏻
