Here is THE ONE that I promised!! 🤩 Liszt sonata is definitely one of the most difficult pieces in piano history. Not only technically but also emotionally challenging. Is beautiful how Liszt transformed the thems for example: 1:01/1:32-5:34 or 1:01/1:32 to 6:25. 14:01,14:35 those passages are so dramatically beautiful 3:16 to 3:24 is so "magic" how Liszt arrive at this marvellous theme.

I have been obsessed with this sonata for a year now. This sonata defined this year's lockdown; it plays in my head all the time. I've listened to over a hundred interpretations of this sonata. It's insanely good and totally addicting once a listener gets it. It's challenging for a listener. The marcato passages, the fugue and lyrical passages are my favorites. It has a freshness to it that I haven't experienced with any other sonata. It just stays so FRESH. I think its complexity and uniqueness keep me returning to it. Clara Schumann said it was blind noise; no, she was either too judgmental or Brahms deliberately played it poorly for her. This sonata is Liszt's grandest work. He called it La Grande Sonate before changing the title. The second ballade should be your next target. It's just as good and satisfying as the sonata.

Imagine, then, how mesmerizing the likes of Zimerman or Grynyuk playing the same piece; live, for everybody to see.

Oh my actual goodness holy. I am completely dumbfounded right now. This channel is just the most magnificent of all reactive-visualizer channels. I was actually considering requesting this to Rousseau today, but seems I won't be needing to do that any more. You deserve far, far more subs.

From 3:49 I really love that unusual bizarre tune that no romantic composer would have even thought of. Technically complex and emotionally dextrous and colourful. GORGEOUS, GORGEOUS, GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THOUSAND CONGRATS FOR THE SUBS TRAUM AND MANY THANKS FOR PLAYING THIS PIECE!!!!!!!! THANKS A LOT!!!!!!!!!!!!

His thrilling performance of Liszt Sonata sent a shiver down my spine. His channel definitely deserves more recognition.

Wow, I never knew you did this piece. I love it, it's beautiful. It's evident that you're REALLY good. And I love your interpretation at 9:00 with no pedal. Really nice playing.
