You guys should keep track of all the knockout wins everyone gets in the new office. Use them as accolades monthly and yearly to see who is the golfer of the month and even year. Whoever has the most at the end of the month should get something like a mulligan in any challenge they want or use them during good good week. Would be cool to see who is doing the best that month and for the year

I think it would be more fun like actual knockout: play with 2 identical balls, as soon as the first person putts the next person goes and they both have to tap their ball in before giving it to the next person in line, if the second one to go makes it first, then the first person is out. If the first putter makes it first then they pass their ball back to the third putter and they putt immediately, trying to make their putt before the second putter, and this cycle continues… Then when someone gets out you should move back a little bit and leave the order in the same state as when the player got out so no one gets skipped. This would probably let you play multiple games in one video, so it wouldn’t suck so much getting knocked out early. Great video either way, just my thoughts
@leonardMD33 жыл бұрын
Like always, what great content from you all. The idea of a knockout putting contest is great, and I actually think there would be a really great way to improvise this to where it was better and a bit more nerve racking. You can still change distances and such too, but the change is how the “knockout” portion goes. I will chose an example that has 3 players so it is easy. Player 1, putts & makes the shot (goes to “back of line”. Player 2 putts and misses long 3 feet (still playing). Player 3 putts (if he makes player 2 is out) and misses 2 inches left. Now player 2 has to finish whatever putt he has left (before player 3 does), so if he makes, he goes to “back of line”. Player 3 then still has a putt to finish his. Where the game gets even more fun is if you do the same thing but start with a 25 footer. Then player 1 puts and say he goes 2 feet short. Player 2 then putts, but goes 5 feet past. So player 1 comes back and has to make the 2 footer to stay in (and does so he goes to “back of line”). Then player 2 comes up for 4 footer, but player 3 now “has the ball” from player 1 waiting to shoot. So it puts pressure on player 2 to makes the foot com backer because if not player 3 has a chance to knockout with a hole out. I believe this more true knockout version of the game would be way more fun and would make for more dramatics and opportunities for drama and such. It wouldn’t allow things like the first putter to just get through even though he never makes his putt. Or the last person to never really be challenged, because their putt would always have to go in for it to count. Once the rotation is made and the final player who putted is safe. The putt could be moved to say whoever was the (first) to one putt from the original location. So putts could get longer, shorter, or less/more break depending on their putting strength most likely. Thanks again for the content fellas, always fun to get to watch, best wishes & Happy Holidays!

You could totally make this a whole game! In real knockout, as you all know, you shoot till you make it unless the person after you makes it first. So, my thought to kind of change that feature is (assuming you miss) if the person after you hits it in or puts it closer, knocks you out. This would create a really fast video though, and I am not sure how you would increase the length of this video. Or, you could switch up the angle of the putt. Keep it to the same hole so the general break is the same, but in order to make the putt a bit more challenging and encompass a bit more technical ability in terms of reading greens and break! I think this would make the game a lot harder especially as you move back. I know they missed a lot of the long putts in this video, but maybe this would make sure you don't have to have so many missed putts by keeping it generally closer. Like this if you like the idea!
@jakeholloTV3 жыл бұрын
could make it to the point where you have to win to move on. whoever is the winner, sits out and lets the rest play, then the next winner sit out. etc. once there’s two players remaining, whoever loses is completely eliminated and you take all the winners from before and start again. if that makes sense

Y'all should just only move back whenever someone gets out. Keep the order and rotation going at the same distance until that happens. That puts a cap on how far you can move back (only five moves) and it avoids having just one person putt on the same distance twice. Also would love to see a speed round version of this! Great content
@namne113 жыл бұрын
what you said. plus, do it like real knockout if someone misses, they need to run up and try to make it before the person after make their first putt. this format will make speed control important instead of just blasting it 5 ft past
@jefflebowski2193 жыл бұрын
I agree but I think it should be turn-based and not how fast you can 2 putt. It should constantly alternate turns, so a 3 putt is killer, and a 1-putt is momentum changing by switching the pressure on to the next player.

@2good4name3 жыл бұрын
The way my mates play it is: Each round continues until either one person is eliminated, or everyone holes it. One person starts, they try to get it as close to the hole as possible (or hole it out, ideally). If they don't hole it, you mark how close it was and that is now the max distance from the cup the next person has to putt to not be eliminated. If the next person's putt is further away than that distance, they are eliminated, and you start a new round. If someone putts it into the cup, they are safe from elimination and don't need to putt this round anymore, other people continue. Continue taking a putt each in order, each closer putt making the max distance from the cup closer and closer until you basically have to hole it out or get eliminated. If you're the last person left without holing it, you get 1 putt to hole it or you get eliminated. Next round starts as soon as someone is eliminated, or everyone has holed it, minus the eliminated player. Game ends when one person remains. The disadvantage for playing it this way, is going first is usually an advantage, but it sometimes comes around to you with you having to make an impossible putt, so it can be alright.

@SoilworkFAN3 жыл бұрын
As others suggested only moving back when someone gets out makes sense but to still change it up change the direction from where you're putting from. Going around like the hours on a clock or something. Just to change up the putt each time.
@CBECH223 жыл бұрын
Just a suggestion, but if you miss your putt, the person behind should be able to putt. If they make it, then the person who missed is out. If the second person misses as well, the first person should putt from where their original putt ended up. If the make then they pass the ball to the next person in line and the other person gets one put to finish. Thats mirrors basketball knockout closely. Then it also makes those three foot kneeknockers pretty intense.
@cole80123 жыл бұрын
Play it like basketball knockout where you don't wait for each shot and have to race to the ball to knock your shot in before the person behind you can! And no shot no matter how close to the hole is good. If you want to add distance, every time someone gets out just pause and move it back 3 feet. To avoid someone missing short and getting in the way of the next person's shot, the next person can just take a step or two in either direction from the same distance.

*RULE CHANGE* Play it like actual knockout or gotcha. If bubbie shoots first and misses he leaves the ball there then the second guy shoots to get bubbie out. If the second guy misses then bubbie shoots his next short putt and so on. You don’t go to the back of the line if you miss your first putt. Just like basketball you get your rebound then shoot a layup. You don’t rebound then go to the back of the line. Very good idea though.
@housemoney21433 жыл бұрын
To make it more like basketball - every player has to finish the hole. A knockout occurs when a player behind you finishes the hole first. Order of play is just like golf - whoever is further away is up. For example start at 10 feet. A) hits it to 3 feet B) hits it to 3 inches A) misses B) makes and eliminates A And so on….. Lastly don’t change the distance mid game. Play until someone wins at a given distance.

In lightning/knockout you have a chance to grab your rebound and try to make it before the guy behind you does. It's just a mad scramble and the guy after that can't shoot until the first guy finally makes his. I think you guys could do something similar to that, where you need to rush up to your ball and make it before the guy behind you does. It may not work but it sounds fun.
