This is the same roof that they filmed the beginning of Murderer on. You'll see when you get to it.

Nice reaction. You’ve got Ren, Gorran Kendall on the bass(also plays harmonica and acoustic guitar) and also has his own KZbin channel, Romain Axisa was on the ukulele, he’s French, and also makes his own music and has his own channel. He also plays multiple instruments. He and Ren were flatmates for 5-6 years. They never had a fight in that time. Gorran’s music is very folksy. A big inspiration of his is Bob Dylan. There’s also the drummer, not here obviously, but his name is Glenn Chambers. He’s the only one without a KZbin channel, not still making music.

Gorran also lived with Romain and Ren in the same flat. There is a video shot of the three of them jamming on Gorran's bed during lockdown. Also, the location where Ren steps through the window off the roof to change, in the Murderer video.

I don't know who you are or where you came from but I subbed 30 seconds in. You're a natural. Good reaction. And... "Je parle un pou francais." (which means "I speak a little French") I just started learning six days ago. I'm also using this track and learning Romain's verse. So, I SEE you, lady.

the song is originally from a french group called "Mano Negra" titeled "King of the Bongo" released in 1991 = kzbin.info/www/bejne/hqqWhKiVm7OKobs After the group split up and after a time break the singer of "Mano Negra" named "Manu Chao" went solo and as his debut single he covered it with a totally different musical vibe and added a part in french (= "je ne t´aime plus") which was then sung by his girl friend and he titeled that cover "Bongo Bong" released in 1999 = kzbin.info/www/bejne/mZevep-GYqx0o8k BUT "the real Origin" or better said "the inspiration" is a 1939 jazz song titeled "King of the Bongo Bong" from jazz trumpeter Roy Eldridge but it is - musically - a totally different song ..although parts of the very small lyric section of that song are in Mano Negra´s version + Manu Chao´s version imbedded or better said "is the core of the lyrics" for those 2 songs = kzbin.info/www/bejne/iXPOi2eNeNWibdU French is fun but hard to learn due to the fact that it is different spoken/pronounced than written at least for all those who aren´t native French. I had French in school so I know what I´m talking about. In order to learn it you have to be passionate about it, but as I said at the beginning when you got a grasp on it it is real fun.

Renegade here. If you want some French songs, I learned Aicha by Cheb Khaled in class back in the day. Outside of school I learned everything from Yelle’s Pop-Up album and MC Solaar’s Victim de la Mode. No need to react to them, but worth checking out if you like French. ❤
