The instrument Romain is playing is a Cuattro, a venezuelian guitar that looks kinda like a yukulele but sounds more like a mandolin.

This song is a cover. Bongo Bong by Manu Chao. The original is different as you already know The Big Push does a great job of making covers their own. Thanks great reaction. Did you fellas already do a reaction to REN’s new song Money Ties?

Yes, Manu Chao cover and SUCH a good version. I saw Manu Chao in concert singing this in a small venue and we all bounced pogo stick style. Brilliant. Love this version. Love Ren.😊

Hi guys. More Ren legend... word is that his sister lives a simple life off the grid. She basically broke out of the money game, and he's pretty proud of her. I don't know it as fact, but I've seen it around a bit. If you want to find Ren doing just a straightforward rock song, he released one called "FIRE" on the Freckled Angels album. There's no video- it's from his early days.

Yes,this us the only Ren's cover that I think does not quite reach the level of the original. This is an amazing version, like everything The Big Push put their hands on, but the original is just a little over this one. The song is a metaphor of moving from country side/jungle to the city/mon amour...

The song is about a musician not getting any respect in the big city. Je ne t'aime plus mon amor means I don't love you anymore my love. The rest of the French is equally nonsensical. Sorry, no 3-way.
