About that girlfriend one - I reckon his actual girlfriend was the one who was mad, explains having the key and knowing the code to get in. The other one could’ve been a twin or doppelgänger who gave some fake info about the guy doing something bad to the actual girlfriend to make her mad and make her leave. The other one then comes and gets to be his new gf and pretends she has no idea what happened? sorry if this doesn’t make sense😂

I've never "died" in a dream really, but I did once have a dream where I was at my own funeral. It was open cakset and I saw myself, but I was also myself in the crowd. I sat through the whole thing, then I walked out of the door of the church then woke up. Really bizarre and it freaked me out a bit for a few days after.

The dream one was a false borrowed memory, his brother has heard his brother telling this story at some point in their life and has convinced himself its his own story, i dont believe he actually has the reoccurring dream. People were chatting about freaky stuff and his memory fired this at him to talk about. People do that all the time.... like me and my brother, i confuse some of his childhood stories with mine and vice versa. As far as him not remembering telling the story before, our brains only hold a certain amount of information.. and gets rid of stuff we dont really need to keep in favour of new or important information. He has just forgot he has talked about it, or talked about it while drunk (like we do around a table with drunk friends) and his brother latched onto it as his own. SiMpLeZ

Theory for the girlfriend glitch one. The night he was out for the engagement party he was actually with the “evil twin” Who found out about him and his real girlfriend when they moved to New York and could have been jealous of there relationship after watching them for some time and the “evil twin” came up with some plan to get the real girlfriend to be busy and also be in the same area to see him and the “evil twin” together and him taking her to there apartment and due to it being dark she didn’t get a good enough look at her to see she was a twin. So the girl who trashed the apartment the next day was his actual girlfriend and the “evil twin “ who was watching and waiting the whole time was the one who grabbed him from behind. That would explain why the girl who trashed the apartment had a key and knew the code and now she’s left and the “evil twin” can now become his real girlfriend. Only explanation .

Wait, dying in your dream isn’t a thing? When I was in primary school (probably when I was about 10/11, so about 9/10 years ago) I always had this dream where my class and I went out on a school trip to his haunted castle. While we were there, we were getting chased by this woman (I always assumed it to be a ghost) dressed in a bloodied, otherwise white, nightgown. All of my classmates hid in a room and barred the doors so I couldn’t get in (probably some deep-seated issues hidden in there) and the only option left was for me to run away with this ghost behind me. I remember every time I had this dream, I knew what was coming, and could actually feel scared (I don’t think other than in this dream I’ve ever actually felt fear rather than just knowing that was what your were supposed to feel - if that makes any sense at all). But running down a staircase and she caught up to me, and I started kind of floating upwards with my body still below me (I always assumed this meant I was dead and now a ghost too) I’d always wake up after that, and would never see the ghost after I started floating (maybe some weird full-circle, ‘you were the ghost the whole time’ thing? Idk I was an over-imaginative child). But no matter how many times I had it, I’d have to go and wake up my parents and tell them otherwise I wouldn’t be able to fall back asleep and I really wasn’t easily scared. I’m still not, and always get the creeps thinking about it 🤷🏻‍♀️

Weird story for me that only happened a few months ago. It's not as crazy as these but it's made me creeped out since. I was out with 3 of my friends (and myself) and was playing basketball. I've always considered myself a logical person that looks for an explanation rather then a supernatural event. One of my friends is a devoted Christian, not having sex until marriage and reads Bible everyday and attends church. I've always considered myself agnostic, but my mate was trying to converse me to be a Christian on our walk home at around 8pm. My other friend who isn't such a devoted Christian but a Christian nonetheless was also trying to teach me about the events. This went on for about 2-3 hours as we went n stopped for food on our walk home. I wasn't just zoning out the conversation as well, as I am a listener that likes to listen to opinions and beliefs and really think about what people are saying. They were telling me about Christianity and the devil and stories they had encountered with religion. They werent pressuring me to believe in Christianity, but more informing me as I'm not very informed on the topic. We were talking about supernatural events as I've said and the stories through religion. I then went home and into my room and went on my laptop to listen to music on KZbin and immediately something was different. I just felt an aura I'd never felt after the discussion, like something was watching me. Not something nice though, I felt on edge and in danger. Again as a logical person I chalked it up to be because I was scared, as I was thinking about the stories they had told me for the rest of the night. To take my mind off it I started playing some RnB songs to lift my mood a bit, first listening to 2 Chainz and Jason Derulo next on my queue. I was starting to cool down as the first 2 Chainz song but then the second song played and it wasn't Jason Derulo. It was Montero by Lil Nas X which is a song revolving around him going to hell and becoming the devil. I immediately froze up for about 10 minutes, completely blank and petrified. It wasn't a song I listen to a lot as well, listening to it about once in my life. My skin started to crawl, I felt myself going white. After me being frozen still I turned my computer off and went to bed. Everything has been perfect ever since, but that is a story that is crazy to me that I have. I still don't believe in Christianity and again chalk that as a coincidence but it has made me petrified ever since.

had a similar weird experience that centred around Christianity where I saw a video out of nowhere saying something about "archangel Gabriel giving a notification" I'm not religious so there's no reason why the algorithm would show me anything like that, and as the video was playing I got a notification through, one that I had never seen before, I NEVER get notif's either the video was only 15 seconds long and it was on my first watch, so there was a time slot to receive the notification. unrelated but I also once found a crucifix on the floor strangely.

When my nan was dying she sat up and said "Hello John" to my dad and then she lay back down and passed. John is my grandad's name. My dad always tells this one at parties it really freaked him out 😂 Also a family friend went on holiday and a family mistook him for someone who had passed away recently. He was the spitting image of him to the point these people thought he had come back to life 😂🤔

My worst dream i used to have is: I’m driving down a long straight road with my dad and mum, I’m sat in the back and I say don’t forget to turn and my dad says obviously then we carry on going straight ahead then everything goes white and then I wake up panicking.

It’s impossible to die in a dream because your brain doesn’t know what dying feels like, so it can’t imagine it. You also can’t imagine any new faces in a dream, so every person you’ve ever seen in a dream you have seen before in real life.

For the Girlfriend one maybe a twin or doppelgänger or something was the girl in the work clothes? She sent the real girlfriend proof that he was cheating so she'd leave and then the fake turned up after the real one left. That's why the girl who smashed up the place knew the codes and had keys and the second one didn't need them to get in as the guy was with her?

Not a dream but I used to see an old man that no one else could see, as a kid. I would legit tell my parents to a point they took me to a doctor to see if everything was alright. When I described the man, my mum realised he looked like her granddad that died way before I was born. Creepy thing though, I never ever saw him or his picture before. The man would never say anything, he would just sit in the same room as me, usually on the other side and I always just felt like he was protecting me. And he would be there when my parents were in the room, so it isn't like some repressed trauma. I saw him often, but only in my house. I just told my parents that the man was protecting me ans that he was there at that moment. I saw him until I was like 6-7. Now, I think it's creepy as hell and I would've assumed I made it up if my parents didn't confirm it. Also, another story, I don't remember this one at all, but my mum and her friend told me this story a million times. When I was around 4, my mums friend came over and I looked at the woman's stomach and touched it, then said "boy. Not a girl, a boy". My mums friend laughed, because she didn't even know she was pregnant, her period wasn't late yet or anything. When she found out she was pregnant, she called my mum creeped out because I somehow guessed it. Also, she had a boy who's like 18 now. They still legit say it actually happened. I don't remember it though. Weird though. 😂

I’ve died in a dream before, and watched the world explode in front of my eyes from space. It was the scariest thing I’ve ever experienced. Knowing everyone I know on Earth had just died in front of me as the earth exploded.

I’ve died in a dream before - I was on the floor and couldn’t move, and when I thought “I want to wake up”, I woke up. Another time, I died and then floated up out of my body and could see my body as well as the scenery.

I can't believe Jack has the ability to wake himself up in nightmares as well! I can do that and people always think it's mental when I tell them. Doesn't even have to be a nightmare for me. The other day I couldn't find a shirt I wanted (in my dream) and said to myself "this doesn't even matter, it's a dream" and woke myself up. Also thought deja vu was way more common. When Jack asked Stevie if he's ever had it, I expected him to say "of course, you idiot". I thought everyone got it a decent amount? I probably get it a few times a month. These "scary" stories always freak me out, as I listen to them at work in the early hours in the morning in a completely empty dark school (I am a caretaker so I am unlocking it all. Etc). And I don't even believe in ghosts or anything. That babysitter one was sketchy as hell, just imagining the twisted body and the smile!

i feel like i can do this but it depends on whether the nightmare is believable or not when i notice people i’ve never met or things happening that aren’t normal or that are out of place i wake up but sometimes it’s too late unfortunately ahaha

I had this tipacal dream of where you stand in a building and you jump and as soon you hit the ground you wake up but in my case i stayed in the dream one or two secs more and then i see my own soul going to my body in my real bed and when i come to open my eyes i feel this pain in my chest like 100 nails penatraiting my skin and i wake up heavy breathing and i look left to my door and the sun is hiting the exact place that it was when i saw my soul going to my body. never felt like this ever again (sorry for the speeling not my first language)

This could be related to lucid dreaming, or something to that effect, you may have slept with your eyes open or been semi aware of your surroundings, and let that translate into your dream.
