Nice! Love the shot of snow flurries with a blue sky background! Ive been planning a trip which I will do this summer called over the great divide. Im going to be following the border from Mallacoota to Albury. Might be a little rough for the Caponard though... or will it?
@MotoPassport2 ай бұрын
Gday Nerb I was really lucky with the weather had a mix of all types fog, flurries etc so I’m lucky to capture it all on vid. Yeh your Great Divide trip and route sounds awesome riding right thru the middle and over the Snowies would love to watch that. Probs too technical for my Caponord unless it’s unsealed roads. Thanks for writing man appreciate it.

Big Jack Mountain road it has been closed for ages. Good to know it is open again and they haven't spoilt it by making it too smooth.. You missed a good alternate out of Cathcart, turn right onto Creewah Road and then New Line road are great.

Another great video! Gee you put a lot of effort into the production - I always think how you get to a spot, decide to setup the camera, then do it again - then go back for the camera! Now I’m thinking you crossed on the Towamba River Bridge, shot some drone footage, then crossed back to Big jack mountain Rd? (RideDay)

Thanks David yeh it seems like a lot of work but I do love riding the Snowies and the filming side of it as well so I really wanted to put in a big effort for this one. I'll be making a few changes thanks to your video.Thanks for showing & explaining your route. It has given me piece of mind for a great ride through that area. 😉👍. PS I'm interested in what tires your running on that bike Pirelli Scorpions? , would you recommend them ?
@MotoPassport2 ай бұрын
Far out that’s great timing then. Yup it’s all easy and really fun riding the whole way highly recommend it all. As you can see I’m on road bike with 17inch alloy rims so it’s not hard or technical at all. Yes I’m running Pirelli Scorpion STR and have been using them for years. I rate them as have abused them on my big across Australia trip without an any faults or punctures. They do the job very well it’s my skills that stop before the tyres do. Enjoy your trip man you’ll love it.

Excellent vid Costa, can I ask which quad chairlift you parked up under and is that still Link Rd? Cheers Jim
@MotoPassport2 ай бұрын
Hi Jim, follow Link Rd until you see the first chairlift then turn left onto the small side road that takes you to that chair lift it’s called Ridge Quad Chair. If you miss the turn off and keep following Link Rd you join Guthega Rd. It’s all easy when you’re down there. Hope that helps.
@MotoRidesAustralia2 ай бұрын
I thought you were at Freedom chair at the start, assuming you went around the back of Guthega.
@MotoPassport2 ай бұрын
Spewing I didn't ride all the way to Guthega as the snow fall was heavier out the back there. It's a poor excuse but I needed to be back in Sydney later that same evening so next time.
