Big Jack Mountain road it has been closed for ages. Good to know it is open again and they haven't spoilt it by making it too smooth.. You missed a good alternate out of Cathcart, turn right onto Creewah Road and then New Line road are great.

I road to Phillip Island for the MotoGP many years ago on a Hyosung GT250R. We detoured through the snowy mountains; snow on the roadside and black ice signs made me nervous. However a Woodstock can chilled in the snow is a pretty 'cool' thing to calm the nerves on a mountain top with mates👌

Hi Jim, follow Link Rd until you see the first chairlift then turn left onto the small side road that takes you to that chair lift it’s called Ridge Quad Chair. If you miss the turn off and keep following Link Rd you join Guthega Rd. It’s all easy when you’re down there. Hope that helps.

12.17 Who are you to be parking your bike in a disabled parking bay tough guy? I am seriously disabled and the only reason I am even able to go to many places is if I can park really close and with sufficient room. But of course, that is only when the disabled spots aren't being hogged by arrogant, able bodied a'holes who have no consideration for anyone but themselves. Maybe when you are in a chair after breaking your neck on your bike you will understand, but I doubt it.
