Looks like PiPi going thru same type of downswing as rampage , affecting their play… he was put in a lot of tough spots but I feel like that big hand with JJ , the river didn’t change anything and he called big bets on flop and turn.. had to know a shove was coming on river so think you’ve committed yourself calling prior streets - but he probably amidst a downswing and affected his decision

I wish people would stop saying nothing changed in situations like this. 50,000+ things changed and it’s not like it’s a given that a person that bluffed two streets is going to make a huge third barrel like that especially when the board pairs. Most people would just give up there and he was hoping it would go check/check.

@ PiPi is a great player and it was extremely tough spot. But that river didn’t change strength of his hand from turn, no club no higher card. That’s why I said nothings changed as far as strength of hand. I think it’s more likely that AA/KK/QQ could check down the river

@@donkchamp Yeah for sure, totally agree. Also it's not like he folded right away, he tanked for AWHILE before folding. What made it so tough of a fold was his stack size compared to the pot size. If he had 125k or even 100k it's and easier fold but to have 50k left compared to the size of the pot is really on the cusp of letting it go especially because he is at the lower end of his range. If he had Kings or Aces it would have also made a big difference. This is the issue sometimes with playing over pairs passively. He could be thinking that he wished he just shoved on the turn to see where he was at and get some fold equity out of his hand instead of calling. I def. don't envy his spot....really tough.
