@@davidmodena238 I am glad you found this video 😂. You are by far the best striper angler I have ever encountered while fishing the beach! I have not caught a striper since that morning but plenty of smelt and a few big perch. I hope you are still reeling them in!

Great to see you have fast striper action. But where are the surf perch? Red tides and stripers hanging out in Delta Ag waters??? Are stripers up, surf perch down, or is it species displacement?

I was told the surf perch is good around San Francisco. I have not fished there lately so I can’t confirm it. The red tide has been near Santa Cruz for a good month straight so I assume when it leaves the perch will come back.

I thought most of the stripers are in the bay and getting ready to head into the delta

It seems like everyday the stripers are biting at different places. At the moment there is still a catchable amount of stripers in the Monterey Bay but it seems there is a much large amount in the SF bay, as you state.
