So sad to see Blair go. I wish him well. Some video ideas for Steve- crew drills, more interior crew logistics, crew down time in the crew mess, and crew quarters, how crew schedules work, how charters are planned, how you make each charter unique based on guest preferences, what do you do to entertain beyond water sports, how crew hierarchy is organized/run, what are the responsibilities of each position and who reports to whom, how do vacations/contracts work for crew? Nina’s video of the hidden spaces was awesome. Would love more of that behind the scenes footage. Would also love more livestreams! Thank you for all your informative videos.

Welcome Steve! Great job with your first Loon video. The only critique I have is that there was a lot of footage, especially of Captain Paul, that was flipped horizontally. With visible logos and text in the shots it was very distracting. Otherwise, amazing drone and underwater footage. Loved hearing from so many of the crew and seeing what they were up to. Best of luck with your new dream job! Glad to have Loon videos back.
@Lintary9 ай бұрын
As some people mentioned the editing is a bit choppy in places, cutting out voids in dialogue works well for when a person is not in view, but if you are looking at them it is not a good look. You can really notice this in the nighttime part with Captain Paul at the end there for example. I do like the cinematic shots being made, though they feel a little swift, a bit slower would work for something like a yacht specially when she is at anchor. Wish you the best of luck to integrate with the crew, which will no doubt help going forwards.

I am in shock hearing the news that Blair has left. I feel like it was because of him that I know about Loon and subscribed to this channel. He is going to missed greatly and his contribution to this channel will live on. I hope he is doing something he enjoys and I wish to thank him for his great work. I loved how he was so passionate about producing such high quality videos. Welcome Steve. It's obvious you come with a lot of experience and editing skills. Can I give some constructive criticism and say that I would prefer if there was some longer sections between each edit. I feel a few 2min+ sections would be good to break up the quicker segments. I like how Blair used to make feel like I was along the ride with him, filming with him, going in depth about certain topics.
