And you’ve come a long way as well, Captain Paul, in creating your own footage, especially on what’s happening on the bridge or when you join the guests in the water. I remember the early videos when other people would be the ones interviewing you, and honestly speaking, you sometimes didn’t look very comfortable doing it 😄 Now, there are sometimes sequence, e.g., in the bridge scene here where you mention that Steve is on the island with the guests, where I’m a bit surprised that it isn’t an official videographer doing the filming 😊

The ending is a perfect example of why Loon and Paul are a fantastic team. Paul asking for everyone to have patience with Steve is great. Everyone is quick to jump behind the keyboard and "take action with words" ... how about chilling out for a bit and let him "come into his own" with the position? Blair wasn't perfect but you could definitely he improved with each video. Steve will do the same. Cheers!

Tyler yelling at the boys because of their dirty clothes is such a Dad move lol. He gently parented them with the "Maybe next time you guys get dirty, you should change your clothes first" haha
@motoryachtloon7 ай бұрын
Tyler's job is not just the chief officer, but he's also boat dad, and moments like these are teaching moments for the boys 😂
@HamSlicer6 ай бұрын
Tyler is the XO. His job is to find and correct shortcomings. Because the when the Captain gives you advice, that usually is the last time you’ll get it. That’s part of the XO’s job. But the Captain he fires you! So Tyler’s advice should be taken to heart, if you like your job. And a job on LOON has to be hard to get. On the other hand, the boys got yelled at for doing boat maintenance, that you get dirty while doing. So a NO win situation for the kids.

Really liked the content of this episode, lots of short interactions with the crew at work which really makes a difference. I would suggest a gimbal and maybe a little less zooming in and out when close up with someone, a steadier view just makes for a little more comfortable viewing. Cheers Steve, I’ve enjoyed the transition and I’m sure we’re going to enjoy what you guys have planned.

Coming along there, Steve. Cuts are still a bit short at times, usually the shots with music. Not sure if you're cutting the shot to a certain music timing to avoid copyright claim, but if that's the case, maybe there's a music service you Loon will buck-up and pay for so you can use longer shots without a take-down notice. Cheers.
