I tried this build and killed that annoying World Boss in Deshan. The caravan rest. First go with ease. Had my tank companion out but he died early lol. I will be trying harder content when I get use to it..great job

If you switch out prayer set for overwhelming surge set you get almost near infinite Magicka to spam whatever you want and do aoe damage. You can spec all jewelry into dmg and never worry about sustain. Dooma's combo of Hexos + overwhelming surge + ice heart combo works on every Magicka class as long as you stay in melee. He's been promoting that build for almost 2 yrs now and works best of magdk or magplar. Parse is about 80k for 2 bar and 70k for 1 bar. In practice the 1 bar definitely hits around 52k DPS in most vet content and 63k for 2 bar in most vet content.

@HackTheMinotaur I updated the build and made it better. I changed the Head to Heavy and added all Heavy Passives + changed both Ultimates to the Magic Guild's Ultimate (for some more sustain from the passives). Works like a true "Solo Tank". You should try it.

Nice transition from Mother Ciannait to Iceheart. I assume it unleashes its full damage potential because the Iceheart shield doesn't break that often due to 2 other shields so probably all the ticks go through.

Cool build. Thanks! With the longer cooldown on Hexos, why not backbar Hexos and open up two equip slots for a Mythic and a Trainee? If you pick a jewelry mythic, you could use a heavy Trainee chest and medium Hexos legs for max undaunted mettle passive. If you backbar a 2H melee, you can switc out Wall for Stampede for guaranteed crit to proc Hexos every 7 seconds. It would take some rearranging to incorporate it into your rotation, but I think adding a mythic to this would be worth the effort. Pale order for more healing (would replace Structured Entropy with Degeneration or Puncturing Sweep with Biting Jabs to get Major Sorcery buff), Death Dealers for more resource stats/ability damage, Torc for more sustain, Sea Serpent for massive extra damage (can you cleanse the snare with ritual? not sure). Just some ides.

Not sure what you mean by saying *[Prayer Shawl]* is a _"not-so well-known set"._ *[Symphony of Blades]* + *[Spell Power Cure]* + *[Prayer Shawl]* = the _All-Purpose Dungeon-Healer_ build. Not that I mean to give you a hard time. I'm sure there are many to-whom it is lesser-known.. It just surprised me to hear that said is all. :P And you're absolutely right that _(in solo content)_ *[Prayer Shawl]* has the shortest CD of any shield-proc set. However, if you're in a group of 3, *[Combat Physician]'s* shield-proc CD works out to being its equal; in a group of 4, it's superior; and the margin by which it's superior only grows, as the group-size increases; because its CD is _per-target._ *[Combat Physician]* also has two lines of Crit on it, which compliments *[Hexos' Ward]* well. And like *[Prayer Shawl],* it's also super easy to collect. Obviously this would be an alternate set, for times when you want to group with a few friends. I like to swap this in for things like *vDSA,* where soloing just isn't very practical, even if is technically possible. Another alternate option, if you find you don't need quite so much shielding, and would rather have more damage output, would be the *[Nunatak]* monster set from Imperial City: Memorial District. It is currently the only source of *Major Brittle* in the game, which gets you +20% Crit Dmg, while the debuff persists. And, with all that Crit you're packin', you'll really feel this set's proc! Unlike *Minor Brittle,* this set and it's debuff don't actually require a Frost Staff at all (though, that is how I prefer to proc it). You could use _any_ weapon you want, with the Charged trait and a Frost Glyph on it. If you _do_ use a Frost Staff though, you need-not use a Frost Glyph or the Charged trait; *Destructive Touch* takes care of all that for you. Another distinction between *Major* and *Minor Brittle* is that, as a Templar, *Minor Brittle* is limited to being on only one of your targets. Whereas the *Major Brittle* debuff, that *[Nunatak]* provides, is not. That means +20% Crit Dmg to all enemies who were within range of the proc-location. _And,_ nearby allies also utilize this debuff too! Everybody wins! ;)

I was running this a looong time ago but these days you can drop iceheart and run oaken and just slot a dmg shield skill into your rotation you will end up overall stronger but ofc less skills but honestly you only need jabs , solar degen backlash caltrops and you can wreck shit np

besides prayer which I thought would be too simple, I used sul-xan, the minibosses in endless dungeon come and one tap me for 28k non heavy attack. So I don't think you understand the meaning of unkillable. But the old sorc HA still works decently until you get the second boss or stuff after that.

Can we go hexos ward+ icestaff backbar with shield enchant + infused, and then we go for a deadly strike set for example ? That way you can tank in dungeon even as a dd, and block I use sea serpent + infused and shield+ exo+ deadly strike,, somehow I can tank a lot of vet boss, but I wonder if the ice staff block/shield is really worth the 12% DMG loss (but we get +15% from deadly strike so?)

i still not sure if cooldown in the set means you can’t proc it until after that many seconds. for example the first set in your video, does that mean after the 6 seconds, it won’t proc again until another 2 seconds after the 6 seconds ended?

Cooldown timer begins when something procs not when the proc effect ends. So something with a 6 second spell effect and a 10 second cooldown would actually only need a 4 second wait before recasting, anything with a cooldown shorter than or the same as the effect time can potentially have 100% uptime. So with this Prayer set you effectively get 3 chances to retrigger it once proc'd to get a new damage shield by Overhealing before it expires after 6 seconds. The Hexos' Ward set he's using here has a 1 second minimum downtime between procs, since it's a 6 second effect with 7 second cooldown.

Tank's dps, but still not the tank's survivability. Weird stuff. Pretty bad for group, not the best for solo. And it is really far from " Literally UNKILLABLE ". Its just ok. Better than usual dps, but have no damage xD I have at least 2 builds and they really "Literally UNKILLABLE " . one - you can drink coffee on a boss fight and other - just a good tank for 80% content and in the same time have about 60k dps on backbar But 3x shiled sounds really interesting, thats true.

@@YA-kr4fr first: bahraha(ice stuff+axe n' shield)+leeching(from imperial prison heavy set)+grothdarr. literally for any class but i prefer for templar n' warden. Any solo content(veteran dungeons also) - easy. Drink coffee, enjoy. Mobs, bosses will kill themselfs without your actions. You'll never see any good damage usin' it, but its chill and perfect for solo+dungeons. Even for daily pvp, imperior city is pretty fine. second(mostly for dk): aegis caller(medium set)+infallible mage+stone husk. shield bar for tanking, stuff(usin' heavy attacks) for damaging. ok tanking(for dungeons, solo ofc), you'll never see more damage on 'tank' builds. Both of them not for trials ofc, just for solo + casual daily activities. Check yourself if interested.

I watch all these you can do this or that videos and EVERYONE is someone with maxed out gear and insane amount of CP.. So basically people just cock waggling how uber they are.. Beginners need only mostly crafted sets. Look up best crafted sets for your build and see if someone can craft them for you. Also this guy and Alcast both have beginner builds on their website
