You never know! The meets I go to were going on for years before I knew about them. Try looking around for FB groups. Or if nothing else, start it up yourself! Cuz I agree, it’s nice having a bass community. Hope you find one! (But I’ll try and help you feel like you were at ours in the meantime)

I thought Tara's needed full power from the Electrical or they become a "Fire🔥Risk"😱?? I know they Run Hotter than normal when underpowered by the vehicle

I’ve also heard they were very power hungry! But from what I understand, he has them dialed way back (gain wise), to kinda counteract that as much as he could. I know that amp definitely wasn’t even TRYING to do 8k. I think he was doing his best to work within the limits of his system, at least I hope! Beyond that, I can’t say!

@@DaBadNewz is it better to Dial back a 8K thus dropping it's ability to perform or Just use a Smaller amp that you can feed what it wants like say a 3k??? Even dialed back a 8k is still gonna tax a vehicles system probably more so than just running a different amp that requires less volts/power to operate

@gapyrodawg5181 from the advice I’ve always been given, it’s better to have the headroom that a more powerful amp provides you. Either way, you need proper electrical, but it’s easier for an 8k amp to make 3k than it is for a 3k amp, since that’s would be the amp’s limit. Plus, after any voltage drops or extra resistance anywhere in the system, that 3k isn’t putting out a full 3k, where as that 8k can do 3k to the sub after all losses no problem. Hope that makes sense!

Don't sleep on 10s. I have a single Orion HCCA 10 wired at 2 ohm on a single 5K mono and right now, its running at around 3500 and it gets down! I have sound deadened my trunk but now I have to remove my center taillight to put some deadening behind there because the Orion is determined to kick it off 😂
