Kyle Robinson ahh should of got a 2014 the 2013 has tones of issues !! The non TU N63 is a nightmare. I also have a 2007 335i and I love driving the 335i wayyyyy more then the 550i. The f10 is a nicer car but the 335i is way more sportier and engaging to drive.

Long as the 02 sensor is installed you won’t get cel . You can remove everything after that . Meaning the resonater and mufflers which he did .

Leo Zabo jb4 isn’t bad. I recommend boot mod 3 flash. Yes this has ARM catless downpipes there about $300. And went to a muffler shop and had them remove the resonators and mufflers and out a x pipe where the resonators were.

These cars are not as bad as people make them out to be. Honestly I’m starting to realize, people that claim certain cars are unreliable either are broke and can’t maintain the car properly or just clueless on how to drive a car. I’ve had a 1988 Toyota Supra Turbo which people claim are money pits and I drove that day for four years, a 2002 CLK55 AMG in which I drove daily two years, and now an E60 Tuned 335i N54 for the last two years. Each car minus the Mercedes is known for being money pits, but to be honest, I’ve just been fine. I monitor oil temps, never beat on cars until fully warm, change fluids, etc. I think the 550i is a great car but people but them as cheap as possible with no money to spare to fix things or do maintenance.

I've owned over 100 vehicles and modified most all of them. The best sounding exhaust I've ever heard on a 95 BMW 540i. Same type V8 structurally is this 550i. I had no mufflers and a pair of VIbrant resonators on the end of the system. It sounded like a very well tuned NASCAR race car. NOT obnoxious at all with all that popping and cracking shit. Adding a pair of Vibrant resonators would make this 550i sound SO much better... WITHOUT all the popping and cracking that makes it sound like a cheap assed, beat up hopptie. Just being real.

Anyways, slap on a pair of those Vibrant resonators on the end of the pipes. I can guarantee you you'll be tons happier. The ladies will start noticing you a LOT more and stop turning their heads when they hear that popping and cracking. The really hot ones hate that shit coming out of expensive, sophisticated sports sedan. They don't want to be seen riding in a car like that.

The 550i and 550i m sport are same cars only differences are the m badges, sit a lil lower, from spoiler and you good to go options rims and other executive packages. But the 2014 to 2018 are in beast mode esp with x drive

If you baby it, it can be reliable. MPG is about 15mpg average. I just did the 50k maintenance and it runs very well. If you don't abuse it and maintain, it can be a very reliable and fun car.

Their not the worst, 2013 and up for the updated n63tu engine. Opening them up every no and then is fine dogging them will heat up the valve seals and cause oil leaks because the turbos are in a "hot vee" like fashion meaning they sit in between the V in block to reduce turbo lag. If you're handy and have some mechanical experience you can own one and maintain for a reasonable price. But honestly get an N54 if you want a more reliable platform to drive around, get it in a 135 or 335

What you hear in this video is from the tune for sure. Fuel has been added on deceleration its called exhaust overrun AKA "burble tune" "pops and bangs" the unburnt fuel is combusting as its hitting the exhaust, your custom tuner,OTS file, or factory map is usually retarding timing to achieve this.there is a very distinct pop from the stock map on the N63 but not this.Downpipes will intensify it as without them you will harm your CATS doing this . the golden rule for a street tuned car is the more it pops the more fuel your using and the more your MPGs will suffer.
